My husband & I adopted our son 2 years ago. During the process we had some birthfather issues where he was trying to contest the adoption (without lawyer support) and he didn't even know if he was the BF. Birney pushed our adoption process along and process was complete within 8 weeks of bringing our son home. He made a very stressful situation into one that was victorious!

I would absolutely recommend Birney's services to my closest family members and friends - and I will use him again should the opportunity ever arise. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better adoption experience back in 2005 - it seemed flawless from our end and we were 100% informed each and every step of the way. It is apparant upon your first meeting with him that Birney is just an all-around, down-to-earth and trustworthy guy. My husband and I - having never used the services of a lawyer prior to Birney - were both pleasantly surprised. What an amazing and smooth adoption experience we had and we couldnt' be more thankful still today!

Birney responded to an immediate adoption/legal guardian situation within hours of our call. If he had not agreed to help us we would have floundered and probably lost our opportunity to gain legal guardianship of our now adopted daughter. Everything from the beginning to the end was handled in such a professional yet courteous manner he and his team made it seem simple. Because of his love for God and devotion to adoption he worked fearlessly to see our adoption completed. Jack and I are very thankful for Birney and his staff!

My husband and I have used Birney twice so far and are in the works for using him one more time. The first time the lawyer we picked was not in court the day for final adoption. Birney happened to be there and stood in for us that day. ( our so called lawyer didn't even let us know he wasn't going to be there and we waited for hours) But Birney came to the rescue!. So when time came again for our next adoption we knew who to call. Birney kept us informed every step of the way and even followed thru atferwards sending pics. We are now getting ready to adopt again and we know for a fact we want to use Birney once again. My husband and I consider ourselves Christians and feel very good around Birney, he is a Christian himself. Birney is top notch at what he does and you can't go wrong using him. We would and we do recommend Birney to everyone we know. There aren't enough good things we could say about Birney to let you really know how well he handles his business. He has been nothing but professional from day one with us. He has made us feel at ease when we felt nervous before talking with him. Thanks for all you do Birney !!

Our adoption, and no adoption, goes perfectly. However, ours went quite awry and Birney was the best thing that ever happened to us! He held our hands and calmed our nerves--and maintained professionalism all the while. We adore Birney! We cannot say enough good things about him!
