Since the onset of my soliciting Mr Ben Gerber from an overwhelming crowd of attorneys to represent me in my Workers Compensation case, he and his office has performed the task in a very professional manner.
I wish I could say the same for the Workers Compensation carrier, Ace America Ins. This company has from the very beginning found my concerns to be the least of theirs.
Hence, enter Ben Gerber.
Sure, these insurance folks have given him every legal runaround possible in order to avert serving my direct needs for healthcare and replacement income, but Ben has seen this before. He works tirelessly on a contingency basis hoping that his clients have the same fortitude and allow due process to evolve.
One has to understand that it is the insurance companies sole purpose to deny necessary coverage to their benefactors whenever the effect is adverse to their bottom line.
I'm very pleased Ben has my back on this, I would have nothing without him.

I have never needed any legal assistance, but I was injured and needed a personal injury lawyer. The first lawyer I found was John Foy & Associates. Their investigator came out to meet me and said Benjamin Gerber would be handling my case, a workers comp lawyer unbeknownst to me. He did not get the paperwork into Mr. Gerber until 3 days later, and I met Benjamin Gerber the next day. He does not listen to what you have to say, it's his way or no way. He does not care that his clients are hurting or in pain; he tries to sell you the whole "I'll make sure you get what you deserve" but does not do anything to help with doctors visits, or any medical help. I was very disappointed after meeting him, and when I was walking out of his office I knew I would have to hire another attorney. Two days after I had met Mr. Gerber, I received a letter saying "I will not be able to be in contact with you due to my busy schedule, and will probably not be able to call you, but be assured I am working on your case." Wow, how convincing. I found another attorney to work with, and they had me write a letter to terminate him from my case. A month and a half later, I received a call from their office asking if I had been back to the doctor since, and I said that it didn't really matter because I had fired them. They said they never received a letter, so I wrote another one and sent it. Now, I had to hire a new lawyer on Friday, which I have been extremely happy with (Benjamin Gerber actually endorsed this lawyer, ironic). I called Thursday, met with a great investigator on Friday (he sent all the paperwork electronically, and immediately so they could immediately start looking at my case), and I had a doctors appointment on Tuesday. I showed up to the doctors appointment (40 miles away, and meanwhile I'm not working, I can't afford gas that easily), and it was cancelled by the new attorney, which I found out because under the Workers Comp Georgia Law website, something or other, BENJAMIN GERBER is still representing me! I called Benjamin Gerbers office, and the paralegel JESSIE was extremely rude! I was very calm and respectful, and she spoke with attitude which was extremely uncalled for. She said "We never received your letter; We know you want to withdraw from us, and by law we have up to 21 days to do so." I said "I've been in pain for 2 months and you guys haven't helped me, I am not waiting another 3 weeks for you to let me get another attorney" and she kept interrupting to say "she didn't care that I was going to get another attorney, they still had 21 days to get rid of my case." I said that I had fired them a month and a half ago, and then told them again the week prior that they were no longer handling my case. She kept repeating herself saying she would take her time and continue to have me as a client for another 21 painful days. I showed up at their office and spoke to the receptionist, because Jessie was hiding in her office and would not speak to me. She had a whole lot of attitude on the phone but would not say anything to me when I showed up. I said to the receptionist, "What do I have to do to fire Benjamin Gerber?" She gave me a paper and pen to hand write a letter and keep it in his office. I should not have to go through such lengths to get rid of an attorney, especially when I need medical attention. I would not hire this guy, even if I had a workers comp case and not a personal injury case, he does not care about his clients well-being, or how much pain they are in.
