About Timothy
Biography
Tim Klob attended law school at Georgia State University. He obtained a degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked as a transportation engineer preparing traffic studies for GDOT highway projects.
He is admitted to practice law in all Georgia courts and is also licensed in Georgia as a Professional Engineer. Mr. Klob is a retired Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel with over 25 years of military service. While in the Army Reserve, Tim served as a military lawyer in the JAG Corps. His assignments included representing wounded warriors in medical disability hearings and providing legal assistance to Soldiers and their families. As a result of his service on behalf of wounded warriors at Fort Hood, he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal by the Army Medical Department.
Tim is passionate about ensuring that injured workers obtain the best possible medical treatment and financial outcome in their claims. His primary mission is helping injured workers navigate the workers’ compensation system and he understands that the second-order effects of a work injury can impact every other aspect of a client’s life. As a former engineer, Tim takes a systematic problem-solving approach to his cases, and he attempts to ensure that his clients are fully informed so they can make the best decisions possible at every step of the process.
Tim has also served as a Gwinnett County magistrate court judge as well as past president of the Walton County Bar Association. He has been selected for the Georgia Super Lawyers list, a rating service of outstanding lawyers for which no more than five percent of lawyers in each state are selected each year.
In his free time, Tim enjoys spending time with his family and rescue dogs.
