Oscar Michelen is a fine lawyer and human being. He took on my case and worked to achieve results that I did not believe possible. I make it a policy to check out on the Internet everyone I am looking to work with. I was pleasantly surprised that Oscar has been involved with many high-profile cases and has often represented the "underdog". He appears to have risen to prominence over the years based on the quality of work he has done and the types of cases he takes on.

In my consultation with Oscar, I found him easy to talk to and very sharp to pick up the salient points of the case. I have consulted with many attorneys over the years. I am sorry to say that I found many "textbook smart" but not courtroom smart. It was easy to pick up from Oscar that he knows his way around not just a courtroom but appears to comfortably navigate the legal system also.

What I find personally appealing about Oscar is the way he carries himself. Without a doubt he is intelligent, experienced, and assertive and yet, I never felt he was egotistical, boastful, or condescending. He breaks the stereotype of what a "typical attorney" is.

My working relationship with Oscar is not at an end yet. However, if he were to suddenly quit my case, I would have still been better off for having consulted with him then not.
