About me

Joshua S. Kincannon heads the defective medical device and implant litigation department at Keefe Bartels.  He has helped recover millions of dollars for victims of defective medical devices and implants throughout the country.  His practice centers on product liability litigation, specifically defective knee, hip, shoulder and wrist implants, as well as other serious personal injury cases and class actions.  As an associate, Josh litigated cases against several medical device manufacturers who utilized a sterilization process that destroyed the plastic components of knee and hip implants, resulting in implant failures and revisions for hundreds of patients.  Thereafter, Josh recognized a need to get useful information into the hands of patients, and so he created in 2002.  Josh continues to help dozens of clients every year throughout the country that have been implanted with unsafe, failed, or defective medical device implants, and currently works as co-lead counsel in the Depuy ASR Hip Implant Litigation for the State of New Jersey. In August 2010, Josh was a guest speaker at the American Association for Justice's Annual Meeting regarding the Artelon CMC Spacer.

Josh won the prestigious Dean's Merit Scholarship to Rutgers Law School.  During his tenure at Rutgers, he volunteered his time at an elementary school in downtown Camden, New Jersey.  Josh's passion to help others continues in his work at Keefe Bartels.  If you or a loved one has suffered an injury as a result of a defective hip or knee implant, infusion pump or other medical device, please contact our office for a free consultation.
