Sean Doe v. Morgan Doe

Description: Mother is the only parent listed on her son's birth certificate. The mom and son lived in NC since the child was born 4 years ago. The father, not listed on the birth certificate, lives in Massachusetts. Mother dropped the child off in MA for a 3 month vacation/visitation with the father. At the end of the 3 months, the father filed for custody and paternity in MA and refused to return the child to the mother. A legal battle ensued between the parents both here in MA and in NC. In the end, after several court appearances and police intervention, I obtained a very favorable result for my client by getting her custody of her son back and dismissing the entire custody and paternity case here in MA.
