MISLEADING

I came in with intention of possibly filing BK was in debt (but current with debts) and upside down on home. Was advised to file chap 13 instead of chap 7. Discussed 3 year repayment in meetings, but when I showed up to court was put on a five year repayment. He gave me reasons why he did that, bu...t regardless it was never discussed with me. He took my life matters into his own hands and did not seek my approval. This has left me unable to buy another home years longer than neccessary. I would think it is your obligation to keep your client fully informed of your intentions rather than have him show up in court completely shocked.

Although a three year plan may have been "discussed", it does not mean everyone is able to qualify for a three year plan. Further, if a person qualifies for a three year plan, it stil may not be recommended for numerous reasons. The main reason for a 5 year plan over a three year plan is because a much lower monthly payment is possible in a five year plan. Not only are these details discussed, they are thoroughly explained to each client before filing. The client also signs off on all documents and receives a copy of the plan well before filing and showing in court. Then, if a client wishes to shorten a plan, we can accomplish this if they qualify. I am uncertain as to the details of this client's case since written anonymously and there is no recollection of any clients expressing common issues as stated in the review.

GRATEFUL!!

I was referred to Mr. Nanna by my sister. I had gone through a horrible divorce and my debt was just more than I could handle. Mr. Nanna recommended a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. He was very kind and answered all of my questions. I filed that same month and 3 months later, my debt was completely discharged...! After filing a year and a half ago, my credit score is the best it has ever been. Needless to say, I am very grateful to Mr. Nanna and his staff for helping me through this difficult time in my life!

Unhappy_Customer

I hired Mr. Nanna to handle my Chapter 7 BK and he rarely answered a question with a straight answer and did not inform us of certain things that would have been helpful to have known about. He and/or his office does not return phone calls, his receptionists are short on the phones and rude. Very fru...strating to deal with and I would not recommend!

Unfortunately, not all legal questions have just one simple answer when it comes to the bankruptcy laws and bankruptcy procedures. It is important to understand that there are over 15 different bankruptcy Trustees and 5 different bankruptcy Judges in Tampa. To that end, each Judge and Trustee will have different procedures, requirements and follow different rulings than others. For those reasons, some clients may feel that a question was not precisely answered or directly answered since there are so many variables involved. We understand that our clients are stressed out and volatile so when a question is not answered with a simple yes or no, many consumers may understandably become more confused or agitated. Nevertheless, our firm prides itself by addressing all or our clients' questions, concerns and problems honestly, accurately and efficiently. In fact, the law office phone lines are forwarded after hours, on weekends and all holidays directly to my personal cell phone in an effort to immediately accommodate our clients. This is because of our commitment to perfection, client satisfaction and professionalism.
