Mr
I hired Stephen to handle a legal matter for me in May 2016. He always took the time to explain the legal issues in a easy to understand manner for a layman. He did what he said he would do , returned e-mail questions in a timely manner as he also did phone calls. I would recommend Stephen to any...

Stephen Hesse and Shawn Dick are Good and Ethical Men
This was my second time in seeking Mr Hesse's counsel. The first time was a possession charge; but, this time, I was feeling vindictive about a personal experience and was looking for retribution. The two of them set with me for almost an hour and explained that my resources would best be spent on co...

I thought my life was ruined
I hired Steve to represent me on a possession charge that would have ruined my professional license, leaving me unemployed. Steve had a very creative solution that I had never been able to find mention of in my many hours of researching the penalties for my charge. Mr Hesse (I know you told me to ...

Thought he was a good guy!
Mr. Hesse gave the appearance of being my attorney, but behind the curtain he was fulfilling the wishes of my soon to be ex husband. I did not believe this until my final court appearance when my ex and he make eye contact and smiled....I paid him for my defense! What a fake!!!!!
I always do my best for my clients no matter what their problems are or how serious the crime they stand accused of. Folks in need of criminal defense are sometimes at a low point in their lives, they may be struggling with substance abuse or serious mental health issues. In this case, my client was charged with Arson, a Second Degree Felony (2-20 years in prison), for burning down her house during a suicide attempt. I was able to get the charge reduced to a misdemeanor deferred adjudication( a type of community supervision). My client had the choice whether to accept the misdemeanor plea deal or to go to trial on the Arson charge. Ultimately, she chose to accept the misdemeanor plea offer. This was a great result under the circumstances. On the day of her misdemeanor plea, she was accompanied by her family members. They were all very pleased with my representation and the result we were able to obtain. I do not know what has changed over the last year for her to decide to write a negative review about my representation. I did not antagonize her ex-husband in court because it would not have been in her best interest. He was considered the Victim by the district attorney's office and they have become very deferential to victims. I'm sorry she doesn't feel that I was loyal to her. I can assure anyone reading this that I devoted myself completely to her best interests. I had zero concern for her ex-husband.
"I'm proud to endorse Stephen B. Hesse as a lawyer who is serious about DWI defense. As a member of The National College for DUI Defense, Stephen is committed to DWI defense, and will work hard to help you through this stressful situation. "Steve is very well respected in our community. He is knowledgeable, experienced, and ethical. Steve is a strong advocate for his clients."
"I have known Steve Hesse for many years. He was a hard working prosecutor and an even harder working defense lawyer. I have referred clients to him because of his integrity and fine sense of fairness. I trust that Steve will answer their questions and that they will be able to make well informed decisions regarding their legal matter. For these reasons and others, I endorse this lawyer."
"Steve always has a smile on his face, and is always a gentlemen. But don't let that fool you. He fights hard for his clients and knows the law."
"I took over a case from Mr. Hesse in Williamson County. He was extremely helpful during the transfer and offered to help me in any way. The client was difficult to deal with, and Mr. Hesse gave me great pointers with regards to how to deal with him. Mr. Hesse had also laid a great foundation with the prosecutor for me to work from and was integral to obtaining the dismissal. I would definitely recommend hiring Mr. Hesse because he is the consummate professional."
"Steve is rock solid. He's the kind of lawyer we all aspire to be. I had the good fortune of spending 5 days with him as my roommate at a legal conference and I quickly realized that he's a genuinely good person and someone I greatly admire as a fellow criminal defense lawyer. I plan to stay in touch with Steve. I will definitely use him as a resource when I need advice for my own criminal defense practice."
"I endorse Steve. He is a tough and experienced trial lawyer that really goes to bat for his clients."
"I absolutely endorse Steve Hesse. His dedication to clients and diligent pursuit of a positive outcome cannot be questioned. He knows the law and, just as important, knows the right people to help facilitate positive results. I would recommend Steve without hesitation."
"I endorse this lawyer. As a former prosecutor and a mainstay around the courthouse in Williamson County, Steve has earned a reputation as an attorney who is well prepared and smart on the law. In negotiations on cases, Steve is constantly searching for creative solutions that allow his clients to receive the best representation possible in one of the toughest places to face prosecution. In trial on a very serious Aggravated Robbery Trial in which his client was facing multiple life sentences, I found Steve to anticipate my every argument and counter it well at every turn. He will provide excellent representation in any criminal matter."
"I endorse this lawyer 100%. Steve is one of the finest criminal defense attorneys I've had the privilege to know. He is an attorney who always has a firm grasp of the law who zealously represents each and every client. Steve is also an attorney who cares about the rule of law....and maintains the highest of legal and thical standards in every case with every client. Simply put, if I were in trouble, I would call Steve first!"
