Help with TSA NOV

Scott did a great job. It is obvious he fully understands the system and what is expected. He made a difficult process much easier and let me know exactly what was expected. I would not hesitate to contact him again for any gun related legal issues.

Quick and Effective Defense

Back in 2020, I accidently took a legal carry pistol through security at my local airport. It was detected by the TSA agents who called local police to confiscate my firearm, after which they allowed me on my way. Didn't even miss my flight. However, two years later I received a Final TSA Notice of ...Violation stating I owed $4100.00 in fines and penalties. My wife did research on how to handle such a civil violation and came across Scott Klippel's Web site. She reviewed him on AVVO and decided to contact him about my case. We were concerned he wouldn't be able to help as I had already requested a formal hearing. But, after a couple of emails and a quick conversation, I decided to hire Scott to adjudicate my case. Scott was extremely helpful and very upfront about what my options where and how to proceed. He was upfront with his fees and what I could expect as far as the proceeding and what I would end up paying. Scott was able to reduce my fine and get the formal hearing request dismissed. I have worked with many lawyers in my life and Scott was by the easiest and most straightforward one I have ever had the pleasure of working with. If you ever find yourself in the position of accidently carrying your legal firearm through a TSA security checkpoint, contact Scott right away, He knows the law and how best to serve. It was unbelievable how quickly Scott was able to resolve my case. 5 Stars all the way.

He Did What He Said

Mr. Klippel was clear on the sequence of events after TSA located my fire arms. That provided some stress relief. When the TSA NOV was exactly what Mr. Klippel told me it would be, including fine amounts, I knew he was the attorney I needed. Once I received my NOV, I spoke with him, hired him, and... my fine was reduced and paid on the same day. He did what he said!

TSA NOV Civil Penalty Case

Scott is a godsend. He displayed the utmost confidence, professionalism, and expertise while helping me with my case. I was one of the thousands of people who accidentally carry a firearm into the airport. I was assessed a civil penalty of $4,000 and paid substantially less than that because of Scott.... Have confidence that he will help you because he will. In closing, I hope that you, Scott, enjoy the Holy Land and receive all the good that you give.

Clear and Straightforward

Mr. Klippel represented me in my TSA firearm civil violation. He promptly responded to my inquiry, gave me a very clear description of how the case would likely evolve, and assured that it would be resolved quickly (in a few days!) with strong assurances. He has a tremendous amount of experience hand...ling these types of cases (has represented clients in over 7,000 of them). I ended up paying far less than I would have if I had simply paid the fine, and I did not have to deal directly with the TSA bureaucracy. I would strongly recommend him to represent anyone facing a TSA firearm violation.
