Penny Ayers is a great lawyer!!!

My case was a domestics NFOB case. In short this means that domestics had concluded that it was impossible for my daughter’s father to pay his child support due to medical reasons. This meant that my owed arrears were dropped and he would no longer be financially responsible for his daughter in the... future. I knew that he was lying about his disability and he was making money under the table but had little to no proof I could use in court. After 2 failed attempts with average attorneys I went out looking for a great attorney. The only thing I had on my side at this moment was the truth and a determination to prove it. I started asking people I knew and most had similar experiences to mine. All but one! A friend of mine had used Penny Ayers for her divorce and could not say enough about her. So I made an appointment immediately. Within a few minutes of sitting in her office I knew she was not average at all. In my opinion Penny Ayers is the kind of attorney we idealize them all to be, the kind who believes in right and wrong, justice and punishment and is ready, able and willing to help you fight for it. My case was not ideal for an attorney and my daughter’s father knows how to play the system for all it is worth. In our first meeting Penny spent the time needed to fully understand my situation. She asked questions that let me know she had listened to everything I said and was already working on a strategy. By the end of our first meeting she had earned my respect and I trusted that she would do the best she could with what she had. I was trying to gather evidence to prove that my daughter’s father was working. This did not go well for me. As court was getting closer and still no evidence I thought it was just going to be a repeat of my last two attempts. At this point Penny spent some time on the phone with me going over all the details again and trying to find an alternate strategy since I had failed to get the evidence needed to prove he was working under the table. Penny picked up on a few discrepancies with paper work and insisted new paper work be handed in to the court. I would like to add that myself, 3 judges, 2 other attorneys and 2 or 3 employees at domestics missed the discrepancies that Penny Ayers found. We went to court 2, maybe 3 times trying to get my daughter’s father to hand in the correct paper work she requested. She followed up behind the scenes checking with the various organizations and doctors to see if he was attempting to get this paperwork filled out and ready for court. She kept me updated with every step she had taken and what the results of each step were and what that meant for our case. By the time it was all said and done he was unable to turn in the correct paperwork and the NFOB was lifted and I did get a portion of the owed arrears back on the books and my daughter’s father is once again financially responsible for his daughter. In my opinion Penny Ayers is a great attorney who has genuine interest and an acute attention to detail, she is intelligent, honest, compassionate and gets results. These are rare qualities for anyone in my opinion and to find them in a lawyer is uplifting.
