Biography
Paul McGuire has devoted his entire legal career to family law. After graduating from law school, he opened his practice and represented clients with various family law issues. In his early years, Mr. McGuire volunteered with the Family Justice Center to assist victims in domestic violence cases. He handled a variety of dissolution actions and is well versed in child support, spousal support, child custody and visitation, and division of assets.
Mr. McGuire brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. At his previous firm, Mr. McGuire worked on a variety of high asset cases, including complex financial issues. He worked with experts for business valuations and tracing of separate property.
Mr. McGuire received his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 2011 and his Bachelor of Arts from California State University San Marcos in 2008. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Diego Family Law Bar Association.
Paul attends classical music concerts regularly with the San Diego Symphony and the La Jolla Music Society. He is a photographer and book reviewer and enjoys a variety of science fiction and fantasy novels. Paul lives with his husband in San Diego.
