Beware of this So called attorney and his side kicks of specifically trained preditorial leaching assistants, these individuals are the worst type of individuals whom walk within our communities on a daily basis. These are the type of people whom we (hard working,honest,citizens) work extremely ha...rd throughout. Lifetime with the fear of being victimized by these type of individuals. They portray to be the hard working Model class citizen whom we all look up too. Well mannered,Educated,attributed "Successful" and hard working, unfortunately some of us will have to learn the hard way of the true colors that these folks flounder within. Disguised within a mask of deceitful lies, thievery, selfishness, entitlement and greed. I am extremely disappointed and ashamed to admit to the fact that I have fallen victim to this particular predator of a so called "family attorney" I contracted Mr Evan Bournmann at a time in which I will say was the most trying, challenging, stressful, emotionally unstable moment within my life. As I mentioned the word predatory in the beginning. I found myself facing the utmost horrible situation in my lifetime that I will state from personal experiences that no one should have to endure EVER! Battling the system for the custody of children you love the most. I found the Evan law group, set up an interview and decided to retain him as my legal representative attorney. Biggest mistake of my life! I played my fees upfront with the Hope's of encouraging and motivating my so called attorney to give his 100% my attorney showed up to one hearing at 45 minutes late the time my Evan bournman sat in the courtroom he played on his cell phone gave no eye contact to anyone once the court was dismissed he raced out never speaking to me. I attempted to contact him on numerous occasions to no avail. His assistant was very well trained cover up and excuse his inexcusable actions. 9 months passed along with 3 court hearings and no Evan bournman ans no answer when I called i was left high and dry with a custody. Case which I had to face alone $7500 less in my savings account I was jipped robbed made a fool of to make matters worse I was out my savings but worst of all I was out my niece and nephew which I lost custody of due to the negligence of my representing attorney and the schmuckery of a job he performed in my. Case. These folks should be legally Held accountable for their actions. If there is any way I an pursue criminal charges against mr bournman and his employees whom became accomplices I M will not stop until I get justice!

So I had an attorney, Joanna Reihing whom I had spoken with initially. I liked her and paid a retainer for a divorce. Well, thatwas the end of the communication. As soon as they got the money, I was handed over to a completely incompetent paralegal named Cynthia Kurtz. They never answered my email...s, returned calls, etc. So I have a hearing, which I find out about through my ex, & I'm on via phone, & no one shows up. So my exes attorney calls the lawfirm & they let him know Evan is supposed to be there. Evan never answers my exes attorneys calls and comes in 30 min late. i had never talked to him, met him, nothing at all! He knows nothing about my case and my hearing is postponed. I then end up with Candace Kallen and I lost everything.

I retained Mr. Bornmann for a family law case. I gave a $2,500 retainer fee upfront. I went two months without any word about my case. I finally had to contact the courts myself just to get information regarding my case. On the day of my hearing Mr. Bornmann was 30 minutes late to court. My final hea...ring Mr. Bornmann never showed for court, instead there was another lawyer whom i had never met and had no prior knowledge of my case. You would be better off showing up to court Pro Per, rather than giving this lawfirm your money. In fact the only communication you will get from them is when they want money, aside from that you will be on your own.

My chapter 13 has been dismissed 3 time my vechicle repo 2 time had to hide it the 3rd time so could not get repo again. There is no communication at all wether its by phone or email his office manager should be fired (jen) she is worthless. Biggest mistake we ever made hiring this firm they dont car...e what they are doing to you one mistake after another.

I have since having to deal him and his paralegal not helping at all but taking monies for no legal services I since notified the Bar Assocation to get a refund . But even now he refuses to answer them. Not a very moral company to take monies from older ladies for nothing!! I had to find a good re...liable lawyer which I did.
