About me

I joined Udall Shumway in 2011 and currently have over 11 years of family law experience. I began my family law career as a paralegal and law clerk in a well-respected valley firm where I gained significant experience working with clients in a variety of family law matters. As an attorney, I have represented clients in a wide array of family law issues including divorce, custody, relocation and modification actions. I have experience working with clients at every stage of representation from initial filing through final settlement or trial. I received my Juris Doctorate from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University graduating with Pro Bono Distinction and as a Pedrick Scholar. During law school, I was an Assistant Project Director for the Homeless Legal Assistance Project assisting valley homeless families with largely family law matters. Additionally, I authored a paper on the Maricopa County Spousal Maintenance Guidelines using extensive original research and was honored with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Arizona Chapter 2007-2008 Scholarship. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Justice Studies and Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, also from ASU, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Barrett, the Honors College. My undergraduate Honors Thesis was also family law-oriented having been written on the topic of conflict in family law modification cases.
