Biography
I am an Immigration Attorney for Jacksonville Area Legal Aid's Refugee Immigration Project. We assist refugees, asylees, and parolees with adjustment of status (residency/green card), naturalization (citizenship), family reunification, etc.
I have an intense interest in the growing need for immigration-related services in the Jacksonville community and am striving to work with others in the community to address that need.
I never imagined myself in public service as I have a deep passion and appreciation for business (I know, non-profits are businesses, too - but I think you get what I mean), but I cannot express how much I love public service. Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Inc. is aligned with my personal views in that this organization is not about entitlement for people, but about empowering the people.
