I sought out Marybeth because I needed an experienced family law attorney that specialized in appeals, and from the start she never ceased to amaze me with her knowledge and character. I am just coming off of a horrible divorce which has been a fight for months and months. I was very lucky to have been referred by a friend to Marybeth. I visited Ms Sampsel about my custody case. I cant afford a lawyer to help me in court but was able to pay for some meetings and advice. She helped me find the forms that i needed to fill out to get things going. I met with her before my hearing and she helped me understand what would happen at th...e hearing and the kinds of things i would need to know and say to the judge. we made copies of the papers that I wanted the judge to see and she helped me understand how to give them to the judge when I had my hearing. It would have been really great to be able to pay for a lawyer to be with me but this was the next best thing for me. the judge treated me with kindness and was very happy that i was organized. I would not have been so organized if Mary hadnt helped me get ready.
