I sought out Marybeth because I needed an experienced family law attorney that specialized in appeals, and from the start she never ceased to amaze me with her knowledge and character. She took on my case even though it felt seemingly impossible and incredibly complicated, and was able to turn around... a situation that I genuinely never thought would get sorted out in a way that was fair to the kids and myself. For that I will be eternally grateful. She fiercely advocated for my kids and I. She empathized with me and listened patiently to all of my concerns, yet she still kept everything professional and matter-of-fact. Instead of an appeal like I'd originally wanted, she thought of options that I didn't even know existed with better possible outcomes. She continuously came up with brilliant ideas that ultimately led to where we are today. Marybeth is incredibly talented at what she does, and it's clear that she's very respected by others in her field. Watching her at work during a hearing was truly mesmerizing -- she is on top of her game at all times. She considers all options and is an expert at playing devil's advocate, so there were very few surprises along the way. I could go on forever but I'll leave it at this -- Marybeth is a top-of-the-line attorney and anyone would be lucky to have her on their side.

I am just coming off of a horrible divorce which has been a fight for months and months. I was very lucky to have been referred by a friend to Marybeth. She got into my case part of the way through things and was able to catch up quickly. She explained things my other lawyer never did and it helpe...d me really understand why things were taking so long. I just had no idea that a divorce can take over a year or even two when it is contested. I worked with Marybeth to get information exchanged with the other lawyer and then we started to have settlement discussions. I was finally able to be officially divorced within just a few weeks of involving her. I would recommend her to anyone who feels they are not getting the representation they deserve from another lawyer.

I hired Mary to help me with a fairly complex divorce/real estate issue. She went thru a huge stack of paperwork and other information I provided her. She is very thorough. She asked me numerous questions to make sure she fully understood my case. She filed all necessary paperwork with the courts... properly and on time. She spent a lot of time studying case law and past rulings in regard to my specific situation. In court she was professional. She did an excellent job of questioning myself and the plaintiff. She was aggressive when it was necessary. Unfortunately I was not successful in this particular matter, but I do not believe that had anything to do with the quality of my representation. If I ever needed help with a legal issue in the future I would call Mary.
