Straight talk, easy to deal with

Mike was a pleasure to work with! I had started off with a different lawyer to help me with a problem and quickly found out he was “padding and milking” the situation to increase my bill. Mike was very straight forward in defining the problem and outline what had to be done and laying out the legal ...path. The problem progressed as expected and I, with Mike’s advice, responded as planned. When the inevitable glitches occurred, I was able to pick from a number of options as outlined by Mike eventually leading to a desirable outcome. The big plus was that I felt in control, and did not feel like I was being led thru a mine field with blinders on. His fees were very reasonable.

Great lawyer

I found Mr. Aitken when I posted a question on this side regarding a custody matter. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions like I was family. I was so impressed that I hired him to handle my custody case, and it was the best decision I could have made! The mother of m...y kids has mental health issues, but her family has money and she was able to hire a top lawyer that has written books, maintains a blog on the Huffington Post and would bring a team of attorneys to the hearings, which was intimidating. Mr. Aitken answered all of my questions, gave me sound advice, was willing to work around my schedule (stayed late and met on the weekends) and kept me informed of all that was going on with my case. With Mr. Aitken's assistance I was able to get sole physical and legal custody and ensure that my children were not further subjected to the horrible conditions that they had with their mother. I would not have been able to do this on my own or with a lesser attorney. Mr. Aitken was always prepared, did not back down from the aggressive attorneys that we were facing and was professional at all times. If you are looking for an attorney, do yourself a favor and at least talk to Mr. Aitken, I am sure you will come to the same conclusion as me and hire this attorney.
