She is one of the best attorney by far I have seen, and yes by having a vexatious litigant of an ex-husband I am dragged in court since 2000 and I have sat in so many family law court rooms for over 12 years and listened... to so many attorneys defend their client, and I can honestly say I have never seen one as aggressive and knowledgeable as Atty. Mariana Hevia-Cockrell. She got the job done for me. Even my case was a rarity. I move from California to Virginia and I was the non-custodial parent and when my 12 years old daughter decided she wants to live with me full time and was very unhappy with her life in California, I realized that it will be an uphill battle and one that cannot be self represented. Finding a lawyer can be a daunting task, especially in circumstances where you have an uphill custody battle to fight! In my case I was blind sided by my ex when I was served with papers for him to move away with our daughters to Virginia.
