Missed appointments, zero contact as to why, obviously doesn't respect the time of her clients. Wont return your emails or phone calls. Now her offices phone number has been out of service for 2 weeks. I believe she has gone into business elsewhere but have received no contact as to how to reach her.... As a paying client for over a year she dropped me and disappeared. I wish i could say that was the only problem with this lawyer and her law firm but sadly it was not.

Literally the worst lawyer you could possibly hire. In fact, I have fired Lauren three weeks before court. Instead of sticking it out and calming my nerves this close to fighting for custody over my daughter, I would rather pay someone else and start over, in a time crunch. Lauren was so late to my f...irst court appearance, she missed it entirely. After writing several emails and leaving several messages for Lauren with no response, she apologized and scheduled two phone conferences with me. She failed to be in the office BOTH times and missed the conferences. When Lauren drafted my counter answer for custody of my daughter, her work was full of spelling errors, wrong information, and she made me sound like an idiot. She even wrote that I was fighting for custody against a man who I don't even know! She put another persons name in the spot where my daughters dad was supposed to be, and this was the document that was sent not only to the court house but to my exs attorney for them to laugh at! Her response was "mistakes happen, not a big deal, happens all the time, we can amend it!" Lauren was my attorney for 8 months. In that 8 months I have physically met with her twice, one of which I had to just show up to her office to find her rearranging her furniture, because I could never get through to her. I've asked for a small portion of my retainer back to help pay for a new attorney, especially being this close to trial, and Lauren refuses. I spent hours uploading documents to Lauren's my case, I went through old screen shots and made sure I put all the information in chronological order for her. I put so much time and energy in to this case, and have been severely let down. Please be careful when choosing an attorney. I hope this doesn't happen to anybody else. But just schedule a consultation with Lauren- chances are you'll get a call ten minutes before your meeting from the receptionist saying Lauren is running a few minutes behind, and she will still show up two hours late!

We ran into a very unpleasant situation with a person harassing us via mail and online over a divorce-related grievance. We were very concerned that things might escalate dangerously, too, and we weren't sure if we should pursue civil or criminal charges. Lauren met us on our schedule, and the en...tire time listened very attentively and carefully. We explained our situation, which was quite complex, and she laid out our options in short order. She really took the time to make sure we understood the advantage vs cost of retaining an attorney, and the odds of success with the various options we were considering. Though the situation eventually was handled by the police, Lauren left us feeling much more confident and reassured about what was a very scary situation. She was confident and bluntly honest about things, with no effort to either scare us into hiring her or sugarcoating things so we felt like we were in a false sense of security. She had a great knowledge of state law and case law, and demonstrated a tremendous talent for doing research and looking up related cases and legal issues to cite precedents that would help or hinder us. She didn't leave the meeting until she felt that we understood the situation and she followed up several times following that to ask if we were doing all right and if anything new had developed. Putting Lauren on your team or even on retainer would be a smart move for anyone dealing with family or custody issues. She's tough, she's very smart, and she works extremely hard not just to 'win' the case but make sure that your interests have a strong and assertive advocate pushing them forward. I fully intend to retain Lauren for any and all custody or family related issues I encounter going forward.

Lauren has helped me on a few cases now, from family matters to other legal issues. She is very knowledgeable of wide spectrum of topics and defends her cases very well. I've worked with other attorneys who did not seem to care about me as a person and only wanted to make money. That is not Lauren. S...he makes sure I am doing OK emotionally, she lets me know of options I have for things going on outside of the case at hand, and she always makes me feel like I have someone fiercely fighting for me. If you're looking for someone you can trust to stand by you 100% through your whole legal process and always keep you in the loop, I highly recommend Lauren.
