He knew when to wait, and, when necessary, how to be very aggressive to gain an advantage. By the time we came to settlement, Lance had completely turned the tables and had her elite high-priced attorney entirely on defense. In fact, Lance had maneuvered us into a position where she would have to give up far more than I even wanted from her. That’s how good he was! Lance educated me on what the law could and could not do – he properly set my expectations. Then he asked the right questions to accurately understand my situation and my goals, and he never forgot them. He acted as advisor and confidant, keeping me on track when I went off the rails, and keeping me rational at a time when my emotions would surely have led to bad decisions. I could tell from the beginning that Lance actually cared about helping me. He truly cared about my situation and about getting a just outcome for me. Lance helped me through a very difficult process of handling my late mother's estate. He was helpful on all levels. First, he obtained the fiduciary rights that I needed to begin this journey. Then with helpful guidance, he advised and lead me through the process of setting up an estate account at th...e bank. Everything that is required by the court to proceed legally. He went over and above my expectations by helping me locate helpful people to sell all the estate's assetts. He gave invaluable input as I navigated through the costs associated with managing an estate. I, like most people didn't realize all that is entailed with this journey. Lance is also licenced to do titles and closings on property sold! Of course that was a huge help. I benefited so much by his multiple talents and accreditations to cover such a broad spectrum of legal needs. Amazingly, he does this work quickly, and at a price so reasonable (way below industry's standard) that it was hard to believe. He gave me an upfront flat rate fee, and that's exactly what I paid! Upon completion of all the aforementioned, a friend told me that I did a good job. I immediately told the friend, "thank you....but I had a lot of help from my attorney!" I hired Mr. Gill to do my Dissolution. I had done a lot of prep work prior to consulting and then hiring Mr. Gill. He walked me through all of the process, and the only issue we had was a 3 week delay once we initially went to court, due to the court not accepting our financial records as submitted. ...This seemed to be more of a power struggle on who's form was correct, Summit or Stark county, and caused a small delay. Other than that, this was a very smooth process on a sometimes very difficult procedure as a marriage ends.

Lance Gill was wonderful to work with during my divorce. He kept me up to date on everything that needed to be decided and where things stood.
