Lance D. Gill

Attorney Gill deserves the best review for representing me this last year. If this review sways just one person to contact and hire Lance to represent them in their divorce, I will feel like I have given back to society. I read many of other glowing reviews given by his previous clients, and agree ...whole-heartedly with them. I'm a software engineer, and eloquence with words is not my forte, so here it goes: I found attorney Lance Gill at the beginning of 2019 via Avvo. I was impressed with him very quickly. I hired him after my divorce was finalized, and he represented me in a spousal support re-negotiation which should have been an easy case, but it was not so cut and dry. One reason, is that I was switching from unreliable contract work with no benefits to reliable full-time employment with full benefits, but at a decrease in hourly rate. After hiring subpar divorce attorneys during my divorce, Lance Gill was a breath of fresh air. Lance is a straight shooter. He is a complete professional. He told me things I did not want to hear, and set expectations that were realistic, and it meant the outcome would be more of a compromise with my ex-wife than I wanted. Lance was patient and understanding of my situation. He kept our meetings focused on what was pertinent, and he answered all of my questions. My divorce was difficult, and it was drawn out. I only wish Lance had represented me in that case. My previous attorneys were all less skilled, less professional, and in hindsight, were about drawing out my divorce for their own financial benefit and/or due to their lack of knowledge/experience.

He’s incredibly through, very efficient, and accessible if questions arise. He made a rather painful process a little less painful for me. Do yourself a favor, call him.

I could write a book on how great Lance is as a lawyer and a person. This was my first time in court fighting for custody of my daughter. It was scary to go to court for the first time and I had so many questions and worries during the process. Lance was amazing. Lance responds quickly with a clear d...irect answer. He asks the right questions to determine what is in the best interest of his clients. He is very genuine and cares to please his clients in the best way possible. He works extremely hard and knows what he is doing. He knows what the court expects. There is no bullshit with Lance. He is very direct and tells you exactly how court will be and what might happen. He doesn't put an imagination in your head. He wants you to know the truth and be prepared the whole time. For me, my case was more complex and Lance worked overtime through weekends and nights to study and do everything he could to help me out with my specific situation. He asked the right questions, looked in the right places and found everything I couldn't on my own. He sat me down a couple times to go over my case and advised me of the best way to approach a large amount of evidence/discovery found. He always updates you on everything that happens and calls you when something is extremely important. He is very organized and prepared for court. If I chose another lawyer instead of Lance, my lawyer fees would have normally cost me $30,000 with the amount of hours and work Lance put in. I am extremely appreciative of Lance and couldn't be happier with the result of my case. I am lucky with how things turned out and I owe it all to Lance. He was with me directing me for countless hours and together we accomplished a great result. No other lawyer would have done what Lance did for me. He genuinely cared about my daughter and I and wanted to best result for us. He is very affordable but deserves way more than what he asks for. Lance knows his job, loves his job and likes to help people. You will never feel alone with Lance, he always checks his emails and is there for his clients. With multiple last minute decisions, Lance was just a call away and he always picked up the phone. One of the best choices I made in life was choosing Lance as a lawyer. Without him, I know that I wouldn't have accomplished as much as I did in my case. Lawyers don't work as hard as Lance does. He's the best. I appreciate everything he did for me and the amount of dedicated hours he put in to help me. It was above and beyond.

Lance goes above and beyond. He is a hard working performer who will do whatever it takes to help you...sometimes that may mean giving you the hard facts (not everyone can handle this). He's meticulous, he cares, I regretted every time I didn't take his advice. I would recommend him to any close f...amily member. His cost is fair, and he will walk you through what you need when you need it. Divorce proceedings and the law are without emotion, and navigating through a process which is void of emotion during a time in your life when you're full of emotion takes a great person & lawyer...Lance is both and has the desire and skill-set to be your guide...if your emotions are high, it may take you a minute to absorb his style of help...but trust me, it's the right help for you. I am so very grateful for his personal, professional, and financial guidance...but, mostly for his friendship.

Lance Gill is a lawyer who cares about your situation and will not only get you the best outcome possible, but he’ll also become a trusted advisor. I had an unusual divorce situation with huge financial inequity between my wife and myself. The case lasted about 7 months. I told Lance at our very fi...rst meeting that I did not want to be on defense, nor did I want to pay support or give up any assets. He kept that as his priority throughout the entire process, often pushing me to get the information he needed to follow through. He acted as advisor and confidant, keeping me on track when I went off the rails, and keeping me rational at a time when my emotions would surely have led to bad decisions. I could tell from the beginning that Lance actually cared about helping me. He truly cared about my situation and about getting a just outcome for me. Lawyers may have a bad reputation, but that’s not because of Lance Gill. It’s tough to be in a situation that requires a lawyer, because you have to commit yourself and your money to someone you just met. I can tell you, Lance over-delivered. You need to at least have a conversation with Lance Gill before you commit to hiring a lawyer.
