Mr. Sripinyo is an experienced litigator who has handled everything from discrimination claims to a complex capital homicide appeal. He has practiced in courts-martial, federal court, before the Merit Systems Protection Board and the EEOC, and in abritration. As a Judge Advocate, he served as a Trial Defense Counsel, Special Assistant to the US Attorney, Appellate Defense Counsel, and the Deputy Director of the Navy and Marine Corps Appellate Defense Division. He argued four reported cases before the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces (the military's highest court) and presented a one-hour oral argument as the lead counsel in the death-penalty appeal of LCpl Kenneth G. Parker.
Mr. Sripinyo is a former Marine and Iraq war veteran. He was commissioned in April of 1999 and served for four years as an Air Support Control Officer before becoming a Marine Judge Advocate. During that time, he served as the Senior Air Director for 1st Marine Division during its historic push to Baghdad.
Upon returning home, he was selected for the Marine Corps’s Funded Legal Education Program. Under that program, Mr. Sripinyo attended the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he served as a staff member on the Kentucky Law Journal and on the Moot Court Board. He graduated in the top 10% of his law school class and was elected to the Kentucky Chapter of the Order of the Coif in 2006.
Mr. Sripinyo’s practice also extends to employment law and environmental law. He has represented the Department of the Navy in cases before the Merit Systems Protection Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and in Arbitration and he holds an LLM in environmental law from the George Washington University Law School.
