Amazing!!!

I've been divorced for many yrs now & have dealt with many problems along the way. After having a no contact order for over 1 yr, I had to finalize a new Parenting Plan with very limited contact with the Father. Last Fall, I was lucky enough to meet with & start working with Karen. Having worked with... a few attorneys in the past, Karen is far superior, has gone above & beyond any previous expectations. She was beyond detailed, absolutely mind blowing in what she was able to negotiate & accomplish. I literary have my freedom & life back with very limited interaction with my Ex. She was a true blessing in my life! I would recommend her to ANYONE with any family law issues! Truly worth her weight in gold!

Karen is a great lawer

Karen was a wonderful person and a terrific attorney. Without Karen deft skill, warm style and experienced prespective I couldn't have made it. Karen have handled my case in extremely competent and professional manner. Her effort to reach a prompt and fair settlement have certainly also had a positive... effort for my children. Karen's staff Peggy and Jill were a very nice. I recommended Karen for divorce lawer to anyone. Thank you Karen

wonderful lawyer in everett

Karen was an excellent choice in dealing with my divorce proceedings. The location of the practice in downtown Everett was convienent, the office has a comfortable feel and the staff is excellent. There was always someone available to answer my questions or wait for yet another last minute document.... My dealings with Peggy and Jill was always easy, they knew where to direct me and were assuring and comforting during a very stressful time. I found Karen to be very knowlegable about divorce law and proceedings. She mapped out various scenerios and there were not any unpleasant surprises. I found her explainations to be easy to understand and felt she provided me with many good options but allowed me to make my own decisions. She did not waste time and is very fiscally responsible. The office was fair in their billing and even provided suggestions to me for reducing the billable hours. Karen is an excellent negotiator and I felt very well represented with my case. I am glad I was able to avoid mediation, but know I would have been represented there equally as well. I would recommend Karen as a divorce lawyer to anyone, be it a large or small asset case, she will do a good job.

You Want Ms. Skantze on Your Side!

Ms. Skantze guided me through the legal process with an opposing difficult Ex, with what should have been a basic divorce decree that was done by the parties without counsel. Need I say any more, to enforce a decree, please seek out Legal advice before you sign any document! Ms. Skantze and staff ha...ndled my case with the utmost compassion and professionalism. She was extremely prepared, a true wordsmith, for writing the motions and unflappable during my arbitration meeting, which BTW ended in my favor on all issues.

My Review

I would like to take a few minutes to show my appreciation toward Karen and her team by writing this review. Earlier this year I was faced with a relocation of my children by their mother. Since the finalization of my divorce over 4 years ago I have had to return to the courts to defend my rights as ...a father while my ex-wife cleverly tries to erode the relationship I have with my children in a system that seems favorable and biased toward her. The attempted relocation was another attempt but one that seemed like I might loose. I needed some help fast and ironically Karen was recommended to me by another family law firm that had served me well in the past but was overwhelmed with family commitments and work. I needed someone who would be aggressive. In the process of meeting with Karen I told her of my need and she said something that resonated with me. She said that "aggressive is being prepared". Karen was very prepared and in the hearings she was well organized and knew the statutes. She was able to articulate clearly our case and we obtained a favorable outcome. I was impressed while working with her how she seemed very in control while the "mud" was flying. She was able to remain fixed on the important issues and not be distracted by attempts from the opposition to digress to irrelevancies. Another point about Karen that I should mention is that she not only relied on her experience, which is significant, but she also consulted with her staff in a way that I did not observe in the 2 firms that I worked with earlier. I believe this was beneficial in two distinct ways. First she was able to tap into additional years of experience from those who have been working in the field, and secondly was able to cut some administrative costs by having her very experienced paralegal draft documents that they both strategically discussed. I think that this also prevented a lot of miscommunication and errors. I am continuing to work with Karen and greatly appreciate the work that she has done for me. I have recommended her already to two very good men who are in some of the most difficult divorce situations. If you are in a difficult situation I highly recommend Karen Skantze and her Firm. Thank you Karen

"I endorse this lawyer. Karen and I recenlty handled a matter opposite one another. Karen's pleadings were timely, thorough and well-drafted. Karen was always professional in her dealings with my office and with the court. During the course of the case our clients ran into a snag that with other counsel would likely have led to expensive (and unnecessary) litigation. Karen was willing to put in the time and effort to reach a creative solution that was a 'win' for both parties."
