A lot for a little and even worse

Hired this team to handle a foreclosure..They overcharged for what they did.I paid them for 3 years. In the end I negotiated my own modification..They also filed paperwork wrong at Marion county courthouse for me.I literally am driving back to Fort Lauderdale from Marion county courthouse to fix an er...ror in paperwork they filed because their was still something open from 2015..Way to go McMuffy...Stop ripping people off and close already .

If I could give negative stars I would

Run..Dont walk away from this firm or you will not only lose your home but all the money in fees to boot..I hired this "firm" after my original lawyer I hired had got severely ill and could no longer work.I had limited funds..This is why you will hire this firm..They are cheaper..and talk a good game......After you hire them..Good luck..You will pay the couple thousand to retain..You will get some time with that but then you will make monthly payments..During this time you would think they would keep you posted..nope..not even an email in 2 years fighting bank of America did I get..In hindsite I would have never hired an attorney period..I was able to negotiate a deal myself and modified the loan..These crooks did absolutely nothing for my case that dragged on from 2010-2015..I paid 200+ dollars a month for nothing..Do not hire these jokes..I cant believe really they are still practicing..I thought they were scammers from the market crashing after it was said and done...Im literally amazed to find them here..In the end ..I called the bank..I am the one that got my deal..It went from 160 something thousand down to 89,000..and 2% interest rate from 6%....Only hire an attorney if it is absolutely necessary..These criminals took thousands from me because I was naive and scared from facing a first time foreclosure..Never again..And do not hire these crooked shmucks who will just waste your time, patience ,money and maybe more as they did NOTHING to save my house from foreclosure and did NOTHING to do what I paid for..you’ve been warned

DO NOT HIRE- TERRIBLE SERVICE

I retained this firm to help me with saving my home. I paid as agreed monthly and got nowhere closer to keeping my home, the bank has now foreclosed. I don't know if its a lack of experience or incompetence or they simply don't care. I can't tell you how many time I have to call to get an update. Unl...ess I called two or three times I would not get any updates. I found out from my real estate agent a month after the bank denied the short sale offer that was sent in. No one from the firm bothered to call and tell me the client who pays monthly that the short sale offer was denied. So here I am thinking we are moving to a solution, we are not and no one notified me. When I called to inquire about this it took several attempts again to get the attorney Jerry to respond, even after copying Justin on the email follow-ups. Jerry's response to me was that he was on vacation and thought the office manager Christina called and told me. Ridiculous. I also couldn't get them to respond when I asked how much time I had to find a place to live. After several attempts and no response, I had to make calls to the bank to track down the bank attorney myself to find out how much time I had to find a place to live. The bank attorney was nice enough to share some info with me then referred me to Jerry who called a couple days later saying I shouldn't have contacted the bank. Well if you had responded I wouldn't have had to call the bank. I hope this paints the picture of how this firm treats clients. As of now I am still waiting on documentation from Jerry to provide information for my job to show what steps were taken to avoid the foreclosure. I made it clear this could affect my job status when we started the process and we are exactly where I did not want to me. So not only did I lose my home now I can potentially lose my job. I had to contact the Florida Bar to send the firm a letter to respond. Tuesday April 24th I got a call from the attorney Jerry he said he would send the documentation I need for work. Friday I emailed both Justin and Jerry again to follow up on the documentation and still no response again. You make your own conclusion, but is this how you'd like to be treated?

Justin McMurray saved my house

I hired the law office of Justin McMurray when my lender filed for foreclosure. At the time, I had no source of income and family had to help me with legal fees. I did not qualify for a modification at that time but Mr. McMurray's law firm defended my case for two years and kept my house from being ...sold long enough for me to have income and get a modification approved. They did an amazing job, especially Damien who was assigned my case. I recommend them for foreclosure defense and modification. - Natalie A.

Don't waste your money

Jeremy Resnick is the worst lawyer you can hired to handle your case. He lost paperwork regarding the loan modification of my home. When I went to his office and ask him about it he threated me and my father with the police. Im planning to report him to the bar but I just want to tell my story so you... don't have to experience the same. The bank is still trying to get my house so I need to find a new lawyer.

Our firm does not now, nor has it ever, employed an attorney by that name. The membership records of the Florida Bar do not reflect any attorneys by that name.
