Jeremy Waitman specializes exclusively in Criminal Law. Jeremy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside. Thereafter, Jeremy graduated magna cum laude from the University of La Verne College of Law. In addition to graduating at the top of his class, Jeremy earned several other accolades, including being placed on the Dean's List in each semester of law school.
After working in the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s office in law school, Jeremy was employed at the Law Offices of Manuel J. Barba as a criminal defense attorney where he aggressively and effectively represented his clients at the pre-trial, trial, and appellate levels.
Jeremy also has specialized knowledge in DUI cases, which many criminal attorneys lack. He is a Standardized Field Sobriety Test (SFST) Practitioner, having completed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) / International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) DWI Detection Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Student Program, which is the same course that law enforcement officers must complete as part of their training in DUI investigation. Such knowledge allows Jeremy to attack the officer’s administration of SFSTs.
Additionally, Jeremy has taken advanced courses in gas chromatography at Axion Analytical Laboratories in Chicago, IL. Axion is the official trainer for Agilent Technologies, the maker of most gas chromatograph machines. Gas Chromatography is the common process that is used to analyze blood and urine samples in DUI cases; thus attorney Waitman has an in depth understanding of the sample analysis process and can discover problems in client’s chemical test results.

Outstanding Attorney!
I strongly recommend Mr. Waitman. He was able to get my "drunk in public" dismissed despite having two prior incidents, back to back. He is knowledgeable in his profession, answering all my questions in a timely matter. I wouldn't go with anyone.

Excellent knowledge of the process
Jeremy did an excellent job of providing counsel on my case. He examined the entire case file and explained to me the possible outcomes based off of his knowledge and experience with similar cases. His relationship with the opposing attorneys was valuable in negotiating a favorable outcome.
