Biography
I really enjoy helping people with family law issues such as divorce, child custody, and protective orders. I know that there are always at least two sides to every story.
Going to court is never fun, but sometimes it is the only way to solve a problem. I can make the process easier and less stressful. My job is to really listen to you, help you understand what is likely to happen under Indiana law, negotiate possible settlements, and tell your side of the story to a judge in the most persuasive way possible.
Please send me an email or give me a call if you would be interested in working with me. I'd be happy to talk with you on the phone, through email or in person. I don't charge anything for initial consultations. I do offer sliding scale and flat fees, so if you are not sure you can afford a lawyer just let me know and I'll see what I can do.
Most Fridays you will find me at Counsel in the Court at the Monroe County Justice Center from 10:00-12:30. It's a completely free walk-in family law clinic and there are no eligibility requirements. If you plan to represent yourself but you have a legal question or need help writing a document feel free to stop by!
