I recently needed advice on which avenue to take with a copyright infringement situation. Clark was quick in responding and graciously answered all of my many questions. Clark helped make a frustrating and confusing situation much easier to deal with by generously offering sound advice with the many options I have. Thank you once again Clark.

I am an intellectual property attorney focusing exclusively on matters of patent and trademark law. My practice includes patent application preparation and prosecution, providing freedom-to-operate and non-infringement counsel, license negotiation and patent litigation counsel. In the patent space, I have represented clients in many technology areas, including manufacturing, fiber optic cable management, firearms, and construction. I also engage in trademark application prosecution, trademark rights development strategy, trademark litigation counsel and cancellation and opposition proceedings at the US Trademark Trial and Appeals Board (TTAB). I am also an adjunct law professor, teaching an annual course in international intellectual property law at Georgia State University Law School.
I have particular experience working with medical device innovators as both in-house and outside patent counsel. To further enhance my technical capacity in this industry, I went back to school and completed a Master's degree in Bioengineering. I have worked on technologies including: ophthalmic lens design/manufacturing/inspection/imaging, surgical implant devices; medical feeding equipment; diagnostic equipment; orthopedic equipment; software; and dental inspection and surgical equipment. My experience also includes working as an in house patent attorney for a large multinational medical device company, acting as a national team leader with the Biomedical Engineering Society, and being a continued guest advisor to the Master of Biomedical Innovation and Design program at Georgia Tech.
I am a registered US patent attorney and a licensed attorney in Georgia, Florida and Washington, DC. And, I am Board Certified as an Expert in Intellectual Property Law by the Florida Bar Association. Only 6% of eligible Florida attorneys achieve Board Certification. I am also AV Preeminent rated by the Martindale-Hubbell attorney rating service. I have also been selected as a Georgia SuperLayers Rising Star in Intellectual Property law each year since 2013, a designation given to only 2.5% of the state's attorneys.
Clark was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient. He explained things in a very simple way. He has a very friendly personality.

Outstanding Legal Advice and Very Helpful
I am a first time inventor and sought legal advice and information regarding the patent process as a whole. Clark was very patient and helpful in my understanding of intellectual property and my rights. I consulted a couple other IP lawyers before choosing Clark. Clark taught me many things that the previous lawyers did not inform me, which helped me immensely. I will definitely recommend him to my peers and colleagues.

Highest recommendation as patent lawyer
I am a Senior Principal Scientist with Ciba Vision Corporation and have worked with Clark Wilson in 2007 and 2008 preparing a number of patent applications. During our collaboration, Mr. Wilson converted the scientific descriptions of the inventions to solid patent language and processed the applications in an efficient, knowledgeable, competent and timely fashion. He continuously provided valuable feedback and thoughtful comments about the applications, which clearly demonstrated his understanding of the technical concepts. As a result, Mr. Wilson has my highest recommmendation as a patent lawyer.
