First, the pluses - Ms. Stup is clearly quite intelligent and knowledgeable of the law. She keeps the working relationship very professional with clear boundaries. But it's worth mentioning that her practice is all about the money and not about keeping her clients informed. I would receive emails ...that motions and paperwork had been filed, without me having any idea what the paperwork was, or why it was being filed. And yet, I had a lot of difficulty getting any questions answered or getting a call/email back about anything. The attitude of her staff is quite poor as well - rude sometimes and condescending at best. The kicker for me was when Ms. Stup did not show up for Court and her staff tried to convince me I was at Court on the wrong day. Prepare to be nickel and dimed for every last thing and to have them hound you for more money constantly.

It saddens me to see any negative comments regarding Elizabeth Stup and her law firm! She is truly an angel that helped me through the most difficult time in my life! My ex-husband cheated on me and left me and my 2 year old son and I while I was battling cancer. He was MIA for a year but married ano...ther women 3 days after our divorce was finalized. Over the next 5 years I was survived with court orders my ex-husband had filed. Everything from being an unfit mother, to abusing my child, allowing him to live in an unsafe home, etc. Every time he took me to court he had a new lawyer, I continued to use Elizabeth. Every time I would answer my door to a police officer in complete uniform signing yet again another court serving while my son sat watching me cry, Elizabeth always stepped in and calmed my fears. She was ALWAYS available to talk me off the edge. She replied to emails the same day they were sent, she returned phone calls and helped me battle my ex-husband each and every time. Every time we appeared in court my ex-husband's case was denied. Elizabeth helped me keep my son, the only piece of my life that was perfect and that I could never live without.
