Elizabeth Heetderks received her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and spent her third year at the Georgetown University Law Center as a visiting student in Washington, D.C. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Pennsylvania State University. She began her legal career under the U.S. Attorney General Honor Program as a trial attorney for the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service in Atlanta, Georgia. She later gained experience in business and family immigration while working part time in private practice in San Antonio, Texas and Raleigh, North Carolina. Ms. Heetderks represented clients before the Immigration Court while working at the N.C. Justice Center. Ms. Heetderks speaks French and is learning Spanish.
