Fair settlement agreement secured
Finally, 2 years and 4 months after my accident , and a few months after I filed for a civil suit, we reached a final settlement agreement with the person who hit me , the car owner, and their auto insurance. My family and I are forever grateful to my lawyer, Atty Edward Calvelo Pamintuan, who e...

This is no fake review people. Truly the best hard working guy I know for the job
My name is dan Nguyen and I'm from prembroke pines florida. Mr. Pamintuan help me out with my case a few years back when I was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of marijuana. I met Mr. Pamintuan the first day I had to go to court and he was the most helpful, kind hearted, and tr...
The police officer who arrested Dan violated his constitutional rights. With out probable cause, the officer stopped the vehicle Dan was driving while he was leaving a gas station parking lot and ordered Dan to exit the vehicle. Although one of Dan's passengers had littered from inside of the car the police officer did not have the authority to stop Dan and order him to step out of the car. Dan, who was scared and under the impression that he could not resist the commands of officer because of the officers illegal show of authority, gave the police officer consent to search the vehicle he was driving. The police officer found contraband in the vehicle (which did not belong to Dan) and arrested Dan. I filed a motion to suppress evidence and argued that the police officer violated Dan's constitutional rights when he commanded Dan to stop the car and exit the vehicle without having seen Dan's commit any violation of the law. The court agreed with my arguments and the prosecution was forced to dismiss Dan's case. Some people might say that Dan's case was dismissed because of a legal "technicality" however I would argue that Dan's case is a sad story of profiling by a police officer who abused his power that happened to have a happy ending. Most police officers are good people who do a good job protecting us but there are a few bad apples who give good cops a bad name. I'm glad that I made sure that Dan did not become a victim of this bad cop.

The best attorney...
trustworthy, responsive, knowledgeable and keep me informed as my case progresses. he is an excellent lawyer. I highly recommend him to everybody...
Chito was arrested for and charged with DUI with a blood-alcohol level over .20. This was his first ever DUI. In San Diego, anyone who is charged with a DUI with a blood-alcohol level over .20 is usually looking at having to attend an expensive 9 month DUI First Offender Class that costs over $1100 dollars and perform 10 DAYS public work service. In additon, in above .20 cases, the court may consider additional penalty enhancements. In Chito's case, I was able to negotiate a stipulated plea bargain, the stipulation being that the D.A. would sentence him as if his blood alcohol level was .19 instead of .20. Although Chito was still charged with DUI he did not have to attend a 9 month DUI Class and did not have to perform 10 days public work service. Instead, he was ordered to attend the standard 3 month DUI First Offender Class and perform 5 days public work service. This outcome saved him hundreds of dollars in fees and lost wages. This gentleman was deserving of a break and I am glad that I was able to negotiate a good deal for him.

EDWARD PAMINTUAN --- HE IS THE ONE
Attorney Pamintuan was able to get me the best sentence that was as good as having my case dismissed. He was able to do this because of his vast knowledge of the law and the way he presented his motion for my case to be dismissed gave the Judge a better understanding of my character as a person whic...
This gentleman was charged with three felony counts: 2 counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and 1 count of Possession of Ammunition by a Convicted Felon. He was facing a maximum 3 years in prison on each count. He had no "legal" defense to the charges. However, because of sloppy representation by his prior counsel at the plea hearing which made him a convicted felon, this gentleman was never informed by his lawyer that he became a convicted felon and that he could not be in possession of any firearms. Moreover, this client is an excellent and upstanding member of the community. By filing a PC 1385 Motion to Dismiss I was able to convince the prosecutor and judge that my client did not deserve to be charged with a felony based upon his excellent character and his prior lack of an effective attorney. Based upon the 1385 motion and my advocacy the district attorney offered to dismiss two of the counts and to change the remaining Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon count to a misdemeanor with three years of non-reporting probation. The court accepted the plea offer and the court also agreed to waive all fines and court fees. This was an excellent outcome given the lack of any legal defense. While on summary probation this man is free to travel and does not have to report to any probation officer. He just has to keep his nose clean. Before his 3 years of probation is up, he can file to an early termination of probation and can also move to expunge his prior criminal history. Truly a great outcome for a great person.

Mr. Thomas a gentleman and a pleasure to work with. Part of the reason why his case ended in a good result was because he was straightforward and helpful in providing information to myself and co-counsel. it was my pleasure to represent him.
"I worked with Mr. Pamintuan as a trial partner in a felony trial unit/ I was able to watch my trial partner pull many "rabbits out of the hat". with incredible trial skills and outstanding work ethic, I highly endorse this lawyer. If I ever have a client who needs help in California, he's my first call."
"Edward is very knowledgeable in criminal defense in personal injury. I endorse and highly recommend Edward."
"It is obvious from client reviews and recognition by fellow lawyers that Attorney Pamintuan is top-notch. I endorse this lawyer."
"This attorney works very hard for the client and keeps up with the law by attending legal seminars to assist them in this regard. I endorse this attorney."
"I had the pleasure of working with Edward for the past five years at the Broward County Public Defenders office. I am impressed by his ability to prepare and think through serious litigation manners. His hard work and dedication is an asset for those he represents. What is amazing is ability to be ready and prepared for trial and the attention and care he gives his clients. At one point i remember him winning ten trials in a row. I highly recommend him ."
"Your resume speaks for itself and I consider you a valuable member of the attorney community. I would recommend you to anyone and everyone who needs your services. I whole heartedly endorse this lawyer!"
"Edward is an extremely talented attorney. I have worked with him on several cases and he is wholeheartedly dedicated to his clients and getting them best result possible, whether it's negotiating a great deal or taking a difficult case to trial Edward never backs down. I recommend him to anyone needing a criminal defense attorney."
"I worked with Ed at the public defender's office for almost four years. I know him to be a great strategist when he works his cases up for trial, and has great command in a courtroom. He is the only lawyer that I know, or even heard of, to have won 10 jury trials in row - an unsurpassable feat only a select few lawyers can say they have accomplished."
"I have tried several cases against Ed while I was a prosecutor, and he was my opposing Public Defender. Ed is able to draw upon a deep knowledge of the law to build strong defenses for each of his clients. We were all sad to see Florida lose such a hard working and compassionate attorney."
