I started looking for a ne...w attorney and during my hunt for a lawyer with heart (which I thought was impossible), Ken came highly recommended by a friend and I couldn’t be more thankful for the referral. During the duration of the divorce, there was never a moment when I doubted his intentions or decisions. He was genuinely on my side and he put his all into everything he did for my case. Ken is wonderful. If you want someone tough but ethical this is your guy. He's the opposite of the Fairfield County lawyer-sharks who extend the drama to get as much money as possible -- but Ken out maneuvers them. He obtained the best possible outcome for me in a hard situation. Ken is trustworth...y and puts client interests first. He consistently helped me make choices that minimized unneeded drama (in a toxic and frightening situation.) I came out of the divorce with protections for my child, financial security and the right to move from Connecticut to my home state. Everything I needed to rebuild my life. Ken's retainer and rate were fair and he did not charge for all sorts of little things that all the other lawyers I interviewed charged for. He made a clear attempt top minimize hours charged and keep his fees manageable. Ken handled my ex-husband brilliantly, even though my ex is very difficult to manage and suffers from a serious psychological condition. He was extremely persistent and tough -- but kind. Ken even maintained a positive and friendly relationship with the other attorney in a situation that could have been quite adversarial. In fact, he maintained a great relationship with all the judges and lawyers and seemed to know everyone. Like it or not, you will probably get to know your divorce lawyer really well. (Like when you are stuck together all day in a dingy courthouse room...) Ken is a great guy and worth getting to know. He is a family man who partners with his (adorable) dad in a vintage law building in this seriously cute mid-Connecticut preserved small town (you can pick up great, cheap antiques after your appointment -- or like, have tea.) He obviously loves his wife and kids, can recommend the best budget-friendly contractor --heck he raises backyard chickens. I challenge anyone to find a lawyer who is as simultaneously seasoned and tough -- but also so down to earth. The guy could star in a wholesome 1950's black and white sitcom about being a divorce lawyer -- not kidding. Divorce sucks. Nothing is more painful, stressful or upsetting. Do yourself a favor, and make is a little less horrible, by hiring this gem of a lawyer.

Ken handled my divorce back in 1998 as well as a personal injury case in 2009. With my divorce he was able to deal effectively with my abusive, nasty husband and his lawyer with amazing results. He not only got me a home run but I call it a grand slam. He made life so much easier for me and my 3 youn...g children.
