Excellent Service: 5 Star Rating

Clinton was very professional and dedicated when handling my case in Harris County. Not only did he keep in touch and make sure i knew every detail of my case but he was extremely punctual. He is always in court when he says he will be and never procrastinates in any aspect of the legal process whic...h makes the whole process much less stressful and time consuming. Mr. Portis is very punctual, which is very important in a courtroom setting and has never left me sitting in a courtroom for hours on end, waiting for him to arrive. He explains every thing in terms i could understand and was very receptive and understanding of anything I had to say. Not only is he a great lawyer, but a great person to do business with. I had no problems when dealing with Clinton and he got things done in the most efficient way possible. I would recommend him to anyone needing legal counsel.

I met Mr. Portis a total of two times one office visit and one court date and he had my case dismissed and,he showed concern and began to work immediately, he also let me pay on a payment plan that best suited my financial situation he definetly exceeded my expectations.

Mediocre

Mediocre at best. Never kept me in the loop, never gave me advice. Paid up front - feel like he didn't have to work for his money so he slacked off. Total disinterest in my case.

Sorry to hear this. I'm not sure who you are so I can't address specific issues, but if you'd like to contact me in private, I'd be happy to discuss with you. I always try to make myself as available as possible to my clients as I can. In addition to my email and office line, I provide every client with my cell phone, resulting in me sometimes answering calls and texts late at night and on the weekends. I also pride myself in spending extra time explaining the legal process and options as they pertain to each specific case (sometimes to an exhaustive extent). Again, I'm not sure which specific problems you had, and I apologize that you had a negative experience.

Saved me from jail

I hired Mr. Portis after my court appointed attorney ignored my calls and questions. Mr. Portis worked with me on a payment plan and was able to get my felony charge dropped to a misdemeanor and a few months deferred probation. He always returned my calls (something the court appointed never did) a...nd spent time explaining the process for me before we made a decision.

excellent job

Mr. Portis worked hard and always responded to my phone calls on my son's 1st degree felony case. After 6 months, he was able to get the case dismissed. I would recommend him to anyone who need a good attorney.
