Finding a family attorney is overwhelming, especially when most cases are highly stressful and include your most precious beings; your children. I’ve used Clay multiple times and what I most appreciate, aside from ethic and transparency, is his ability to negotiate solutions with the utmost poise and... level-headed approach to a case but also with other attorneys. He’s not easily riled nor does he provoke conflict, which allows for a calmer and more peaceful case. I’ve recommended him to many and will continue to use him any time I need to retain service. Mr, Wilkinson represented me against my ex-wife this past Thursday. With her being a Board Certified Family Law Paralegal I figured needed reinforcement, this is why I hired Mr. Wilkinson. Clay was very professional, caring, and knowledgable. I am a father of 1, and was going for primary custody of 5 year old daughter. Not only did I win my case, but Clay dominated it. He stayed on top of everything, kept me informed at all times, always available and would respond to any call or email.... His prices are fair I believe for the services you get. His offices are beautiful and easy access on and off freeway and convienant for dallas and cooling county (I was in Collin county). Clays court room presence was remarkable, proffesional, and very knowledgable. He conducts himself with pride and assurance, which made me more confident and less stressed about the case. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. After only meeting with Clay Wilkinson once, I hired him as my attorney. From the first day we met I felt comfortable and very positive about him handling my case. I contacted Mr. Wilkinson in regards to a modification of my child support order. My daughter ...was not in a safe, healthy, happy home and I was fighting to get sole custody. Not only was I fighting, but Mr. Wilkinson fought as well. From beginning to end, he was very attentive to my wants, encouraging, determined and hard working. I trusted him 100%, there where things that I wanted to do and he was honest and upfront with me about them if they were not worth asking the judge to grant. If I asked of something that he knew was not likely to be granted he would advise me not to go that route and explain to me so that I could understand why it was not a good choice. Some attorney's would probably take your money and give you everything you ask, knowing it's not worth it...but Clay is NOT like that. What I like the most is that he is responsive. I'm sure he was busy with a lot of other cases but, he provided so much attention, showed dedication and put a lot of his time into my case, I felt as if I was his only client. Every email and phone call I sent, he would answer or respond within minutes. He is knowledgeable and very helpful. Not only did Mr. Wilkinson fight for what I wanted, he went the extra mile and asked for more. Because of him, I now have my daughter home with me.
