I would definitely work with Mr. Wilkinson in the future and confidently recommend him to my friends and family. My case was very complicated, we need to undo many things that agreed during mediation: remove summer visitations, remove geographical restrictions, interview children to testify and more.... My old lawyer did not want to work on it. He said I need someone who can fight for my case in front of the judge, so he recommended Mr. Wilkinson. I am so glad he did. After five minutes over the phone he understood the case and jump into by filing temporary order. It was done pretty quickly, then he recommended me to be proactive and finalize it and we finished it within six month. Mr. Wilkinson got what I wanted and the difficult things he still able to modify it for children’s benefits. When I was in front of the judge he controlled the room, made sure I am sharing story that related to the case if not, he stopped me to make sure to be efficient and not sharing unnecessary information. Most cases I needed to just agree or say “Yes”. Even when judge was objecting to thing we added that were not in the temporary order he was able to justify that what we were asking are all related. He made it very easy for me during this emotional process. Two things stood out, when I asked him to practice for the hearing he said that I need to share the story to judge as I shared it to him, so that we will be authentic and not rehearsed which boost the confidence in me. Also, before girls interview he said to say that I love them and do not discuss the case with them prior the interview. I am very happy with the outcome and whole process. I have worked with Clay on two separate occasions. Both times, he had clear communication with me. He is a straight shooter when it comes to expectations vs reality in the court room. I was able to settling things outside of the courtroom, both times. His knowledge and expertise around family law is ...great, but his compassion for the outcome of the children speaks volumes. This man is amazing. He is poised, calm and ultra professional. He is a powerhouse when it comes to all things legal. When he is at the helm, I have learned not worry about anything. He is honest, straightforward and effective. As his other clients have stated , he is ultra efficient and wast...es no time. I think what makes him stand out is his calm demeanor.
