Caitlin spent several years working as an immigration attorney based in New York, where she represented immigrants and their families before US embassies, US immigration courts, USCIS offices, and US asylum offices. She served on panels and led speaking engagements concerning changes to US immigration law, published articles in legal journals and mainstream media outlets, and was sought for legal analysis and commentary by the media.
Prior to focusing on immigration law, Caitlin served as OFAC compliance counsel for US individuals, businesses, and organizations dealing with Iran sanctions, and led negotiations with representatives of the US and foreign governments regarding confidential issues concerning human rights and national security.
