I should have read more reviews. I read the first couple which were all great reviews. I had an initial telephone meeting with her where she made me feel like it was imperative to get her the retainer so she could start on my case right away. Was extremely responsive when asking how to get her the mo...ney and then as soon as she got my money it would be days until I got an email response which consisted of sending documents to review. Never once acknowledging questions I had asked or providing paperwork outlining what to expect which I requested SEVERAL times. I feel taken advantage of during an extremely tough situation that involved my ex withholding my children from me and I was heart broken due to police not helping and then to be taken advantage of by an attorney that’s supposed to help me really just shows you cannot trust anyone. It’s sad and idk how this woman sleeps at night taking advantage of people like she does. All of the previous 1 star reviews that have been written are spot on. I wish I would have seen them prior to sending thousands of dollars. Zero communication. 10/10 do NOT recommend.

I hired Anna to review my mutual divorce case and she was great! Her ongoing follow-up and communication was truly appreciated when my ex's attorney sent on unfinished draft paperwork. Anna made valid, concise suggestions and didn't allow for frivolous requests. If you are looking for an attorney who... will represent you to the fullest extent, look no further than Anna.

We initially hired her at a flat rate and paid CASH - however we realized quickly on that she was not fully reading or understanding our emails. There was one question directly asked of Anna, she never replied other than to ask for more documents - once those documents were provided she still never a...nswered the question. She asked for documents from a county that was completely uninvolved in this matter, but made it very apparent she either did not read, or did not understand the email which was sent. We never signed a retainer, never discussed or signed a fee agreement, never discussed or signed anything. We asked for our money back, and Ms. Prettyman obliged by making up an invoice showing that at least in one instance she was billing for printing and reviewing the same two documents twice, exploiting the flat rate we'd initially agreed to, then sending the remainder of the funds in two separate payments. Again, for the record, we paid in one single payment, cash up front.

Anna seemed like she was all about helping people resolve issues when we first met. After that she would rarely respond to phone calls and emails. She would be working on other people's cases while we were in court together. IE: writing out paperwork and not focusing on whats going on in front of h...er. She seemed to agree with the other party and let me get railroaded during a mediation and had no disregard for my feelings about being In the same room as my ex Since there was domestic abuse. Which there is a statue protecting my rights. I will never recommended her for any one or anything. I haven't been reimbursed the money she owes me either. I'm in a deep hole and could lose my child because of this woman! Please find someone reliable and worth your money! Please! I wouldn't even give her one star but I had too.
