Anna Prettyman

I should have read more reviews. I read the first couple which were all great reviews. I had an initial telephone meeting with her where she made me feel like it was imperative to get her the retainer so she could start on my case right away. Was extremely responsive when asking how to get her the mo...ney and then as soon as she got my money it would be days until I got an email response which consisted of sending documents to review. Never once acknowledging questions I had asked or providing paperwork outlining what to expect which I requested SEVERAL times. I feel taken advantage of during an extremely tough situation that involved my ex withholding my children from me and I was heart broken due to police not helping and then to be taken advantage of by an attorney that’s supposed to help me really just shows you cannot trust anyone. It’s sad and idk how this woman sleeps at night taking advantage of people like she does. All of the previous 1 star reviews that have been written are spot on. I wish I would have seen them prior to sending thousands of dollars. Zero communication. 10/10 do NOT recommend.

I hired Anna after getting a recommendation from a friend. She was very nice and helpful throughout the time she was my attorney. Mainly I hired her for a custody case. It was nice working with someone who is also a mom. It was comforting knowing that she would put herself in my shoes as a mom of sma...ll children. Anna was always very professional at all times, even when the other attorney was no so professional or nice. I would definitely recommend Anna and Prettyman Law as a custody/family law attorney.

My experience with Anna could not have been more positive. She is intelligent, hard working, and aggressive. She helped me navigate through some child custody issues from a previous relationship. I appreciated her straight talk and calm demeanor. She quoted me a flat rate that was very fair. Anna seemed like she was all about helping people resolve issues when we first met. After that she would rarely respond to phone calls and emails. She would be working on other people's cases while we were in court together. IE: writing out paperwork and not focusing on whats going on in front of h...er. She seemed to agree with the other party and let me get railroaded during a mediation and had no disregard for my feelings about being In the same room as my ex Since there was domestic abuse. Which there is a statue protecting my rights. I will never recommended her for any one or anything. I haven't been reimbursed the money she owes me either. I'm in a deep hole and could lose my child because of this woman! Please find someone reliable and worth your money! Please! I wouldn't even give her one star but I had too.

If you need a hard hitting lawyer, Anna Prettyman is the way to go. Her rates were great and affordable. She is very caring and considerate. She made sure that we were happy with the outcome. I hired Anna for joint custody of my daughter and for child support. We won both cases thanks to her. My fi...ancé found her and everyday I'm thankful she did. I went from hardly being able to see my daughter, to seeing her half the time. The mother of my child would only allow for me to see her on her terms. It was really stressful sometimes, but Anna helped us get through it. As a dad it's not always easy when it comes to custody, but she gave me a lot of hope because at that time my spirits were low. Anna is the only attorney I will ever call. She really set the bar. She never told us anything just because she thought that's what we wanted to hear. Even with all the hurdles, she found a way around it. She is truly a great woman to work with. She helped keep my family together and brought us closer. I get to be the dad I have always been trying to be. Thanks to her I get that chance. I will never forget this Anna, thank you.
