When I pushed back, she threatened that going to court would cost “tens of thousands of dollars,” even though I had already paid her $40,000 for just one month of representation. Her actions were dishonest, unethical, and caused unnecessary stress and delays. In my experience, she cannot be trusted. Do yourself a favor and find another attorney. I have reported her to the bar and strongly encourage you to do the same if you experience anything similar.
