Excellent
Amy was very efficient, friendly and responsive. I sold my house by owner and she handled all of our document reviews ect. At the same time we were moving out of state and she flawlessly handled our closing on our behalf.

First time buyers who needed help with closing
My fiancée and I were in the process of closing on our first house, and so we came to Avvo to find an attorney to help us with that. We came across Amy and based on her ratings, we decided to go ahead and have her help us with all the closing documents. I could not have been more pleased with how eve...

Home Sales and Estate Planning
We have worked with Amy on multiple occasions. We first hired Amy when we sold our house. She is extremely hard working, efficient, and professional. She did an excellent job communicating and walking us through the sale process. A year later, we worked with Amy on the sale of my father's home a...

Beware!
I hired Ms. Olson to represent me in an eviction with a family member, which should have been a fairly straightforward and expeditious matter. However it was far from either. There are many things I could share about Ms. Olson's representation. However to place perspective, I am sharing the following...

Not your typical lawyer
I was very pleased with Amy. This was my 3rd experience with lawyers and I found her to very refreshing compared to other lawyers I have dealt with in the past. She was very knowledgeable and always responded to my questions, whether phone or email, by the end of the day. In fact, she consulted with ...
"Amy makes a great transactional real estate attorney because she is friendly and approachable to her clients and detail oriented when navigating through a complex real estate transaction. I recommend her services."
"I endorse Amy Olson as one of the best landlord-tenant attorneys in the State of Illinois. I first encountered Amy as opposing counsel on a pro bono case where I represented the tenant. She was extremely fair and clearly knew the law (both procedure and substance) more than almost anyone in the courtroom. But what impressed me more than her knowledge, thoroughness, and attention to detail was her humility and genuine kindness. As I continued my own practice on the landlord side, I was able to observe her every week and she never succumbed to the arrogance and swagger that often accompanies victory after victory in court. For these reasons, I referred ALL my landord-tenant clients to her when I bought another law firm and focused my area of practice solely upon injury law. As an attorney, there is no other lawyer that I would trust with the legal work for landlords. Incidentally, I never asked for or received any referral fees for sending clients to Amy. I do it because she is the best!"
