Samuel Perry Swanberg

I hired Sam for my divorce case. I was young, scared and naive. Sam took the time to sit down with me and talk about what I could expect. He guided me through the experience. One thing I valued was he sat across from me in a chair, not behind a desk. This showed me that he was on my level and that he... cared about me and my situation. I was not another "case" to him. The other thing I really liked about Sam and this speaks to his character; as a young person going through a divorce with all the emotions that come along with that when I wanted to make decisions based on my emotions he reminded me to be fair. He reminded me to make decisions that were best for my child and fair to both parties. Other attorneys would seek to stir the pot to drag out the case to increase their income. Mr. Swanberg is a skilled attorney who is very candid and straightforward. I went to Sam for legal advice prior to hiring him in my custody/relocation case, and he gave me very helpful advice as to what was possible, what was advisable, and what was a waste of time/money, which I appreciated. Sam...'s arguments in front of the judge were on-point, direct and persuasive. He took every opportunity to get the point across and to reemphasize the most critical arguments. Sam seemed especially knowledgeable about family law and what particular evidence or burdens that needed to be met to get the result I wanted. I did have a billing dispute with Mr. Swanberg, but it was resolved much to my satisfaction. I appreciated his personally reaching out to me to make sure that I was happy. Recommended!
