So glad I got her from VLP

I was lost and didnt know anything about what to do next and lisa helped me find my way. She helped with the other lawyer and gave me some very knowledgeable advice. If I had the money (which I have none) I would definitely hire her. She did more than what she was suppose to for me and if she sees an... issue she is straight forward and makes sure you understand fully what's going on, even if you dont like it. Very positive and business oriented. She will get the job done!

Great experience and amazing attorney

I came to Lisa in regards to a custody battle that I had been trying to do on my own. When I thought I had no more options she instantly saw the potential in my case. After I hired her she instantly got me visitations, plus more which I could not get myself. She has the means and knowledge, knows the... ins and outs, she breaks everything down and explains everything so I'm always on the same page as her. She not intimidated which is needed in my case, this case has been nothing short of difficult and she's handled everything on a professional manner. She knows the importance of family and takes her work seriously. I recommend her to anyone looking for an attorney in family law.

Couldn't have been luckier to find Lisa

I have been working with Lisa now for almost 2 years. When I came to Lisa I was a very different person. I was scared, insecure and timid, not knowing how I was going to help myself and protect my daughter with what the future had in store for us. I felt very trapped, as if I had no options. Lisa hel...ped me educate myself, gain confidence and overcome the fears that I originally had. Over the last 2 years, countless hours, numerous court dates and appearances Lisa is still standing by my side and offering me support and guidance in our case. In addition to providing me with legal guidance Lisa has also helped me grow as a woman and be strong for my daughter. My case has been difficult and complex involving more than just family law matters and court appearances. There is not really an end to my case in sight but I am confident moving forward that Lisa will do everything she can to help me get the best results I can for my daughter and I. I would highly recommend Lisa to anyone in need of family law representation or even just guidance. She is a wealth of knowledge and genuinely cares for her clients and works for what is in their best interest. She is selfless and anyone would be fortunate to work with her. I could never thank Lisa enough for the guidance and support she has provided me over the past few years.

It has been an honor to help you. I love the practice of law and dedicated, caring clients make my practice worthwhile. Your strength is an inspiring example to women who have experienced the worst life can throw at you.

VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND HELPFUL

My husband and I came to her for help in both child support modification and implementing an enforceable parenting plan. She listened to our history with my husband's ex-wife and new husband and gave us her honest opinion about our options. She never sugarcoated anything (which I appreciate) and to...ld us the best option. She was always advising us of the options along with the costs associated. She would always return phone calls or emails promptly and has a professional attitude. She knows the law and how family law works; the good and bad. She has helped us every step of the way, and continues to do so.....

Horrible experience

I rarely write reviews but after my conversation with Lisa I just couldn't go through my day peacefully without sharing. I spoke with her in order to discuss my case and before even meeting me in person and hearing all the facts relevant to the case she immediately jumped to her own conclusions and a...cted judgementally. As a single mom I've fought hard to protect my children and have done everything I could despite immigration challenges while the other party did nothing . She made me feel terrible and when I shared issues of dv she was completely insensitive in regards to them. It's one thing to be a lawyer in court it's another to make your clients or prospective ones feel like they need to litigate. There are ways to express oneself professionally and she certainly did not. Even when you want to share your truth which I assume came from the 15 percent of the things she heard and not the 100 it is important to be professional and empathetic specially to families who are going through so much.

The are occasions where I've already consulted with the opposing side. The Rules of Professional Responsibility require me to stop talking to a party as soon as a conflict of interest is discovered. I told you politely I could not take your case. Further, you already have an attorney, which places an additional obligation under the RPC'S to end the conversation. Telling you I wouldnt take your case seemed to upset you, for which I am sorry. Beyond this, the facts of your case speak for themselves.
