Best ever!

Scott has been our family and corporate lawyer for several years. He was recommended by the lead paralegal for a large law firm in Seattle and several of our friends. Of all the lawyers we have employed over 35 years he is by far the best. We went to trial with him two times in 2013. His professional...ism, skill and intelligence made us feel sorry for opposing lawyers. Scott worked on a large corporate suit for us for a very reasonable flat fee. The trial took so long we offered him more money but he wouldn't take it! In every case we feel we were rewarded with the best possible outcome. Daughter's Name Change

I got pregnant at a young age, and gave my child her biological father's last name. I married my husband when my daughter was a year old and he's been the only father she's ever known. Her bio-dad has been in and out of jail for all of her life, and living in a small community her last name was th...e source of much embarassment and ridicule by other students at her school. Despite her biological father's protests, Scott Volyn was able to convince the courts that it was a detriment to my child to NOT allow her to change her name to that of mine and my husband. Because Scott was such a strong advocate for me and my daughter, I was able to obtain a court order allowing me to officially change her name on her birth certificate, social security card, and on her school ID. I was so nervous about the court proceedings, since I'd never really been in the legal system before, but Scott was very reassuing and talked to me about what could happen - good and bad. I am grateful to Scott for his kind and honest manner dealing with me on this personal matter, and for his tenacity and strength in representing me.

Custody Modification

I went to Scott because of a recommendation from a friend when my ex-wife decided that she wanted full-custody of our 3 children (we had 50/50 visitation). Scott was brilliant in his representation of me. He is very intelligent and was forceful when the situation called for it (court hearings or ne...gotiations), but is also very thoughtful and compassionate. I believe that he truly understood my issue and the intricacies involved. Because of his dynamic and powerful representation of me I was awarded full custody of my 3 sons. I highly recommend Scott Volyn. He is very busy, and in high demand, but well worth it!
