Biography
I practice plaintiff's trial law, focusing on wrongful death, personal injury, medical and professional malpractice, employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, and civil rights cases. As I lawyer I have chosen to represent individuals rather than corporations, citizens rather than governmental entities. In addition to my work as a plaintiff's trial attorney I also work in the area of family law, divorce, custody and similar subjects. Family law cases are often hotly contested, and while we do not appear before a jury in these matters, the stakes are often far higher than a monetary award.
My practice style is open and communicative, and it is my approach to 'partner' with my clients as we aim, as a team, to achieve the most desirable result possible. In fact, in the past 36 months I have secured $2,508, in tort awards for my clients.
Litigation is inherently uncertain, and I do not enter into a trial lightly or without maximum participation and preparation. Trial work is often a 'zero sum' game; as such, it is my goal to ensure that we maximize all possible strategic advantages.
