Chelsea and her office are amazing to work with. Chelsea is extremely competent and great at what she does. She exhumes confidence and it shows in her work and in the court room. After receiving an initial unfavorable ruling, Chelsea agreed to continue to work with us to get a reconsideration based... on case law. As a result, the ruling was corrected. Chelsea Baldwin is amazing! This was supposed to be a slam dunk case. Bio mom relinquished rights, bio dad said he would as he was in prison. We started with one lawyer, and bio dad said he wanted to just be heard in court, and that was a disaster. The court appointed attorney decided she wanted bio ...dad to be super dad and get custody of child, regardless of what was good for child and she was walking all over our lawyer. We needed someone with a high amount of confidence, aggression - a "bulldog", "pitbull" if I could get my way because this 3 year old had never even met his bio dad, had been living with great grandma and finally had a relative family want him with kids his age and was, what, supposed to wait 9 years for him to get out of prison, then leave his beloved adoptive family because of guardianship???? Chelsea Baldwin was exactly what we were looking for. Aggressive, efficient and a good communicator. Along with her trusted assistant, Lisa Romane, she moved the case along with court mandated deadlines, I forget what that is called, forcing the other attorney to respond legally, not just with words, which did not happen. As long and drawn out as it was, over a year, we finally ended up with a competent opposing lawyer and in a moment, between the two lawyers, it was over! But never did we have to wonder if Chelsea would have our backs. She constantly reassured us of the direction of the case, why the court was doing what it was doing and where it would end up and it did. Chelsea and her assistant Lisa were fantastic at assisting us in our plan. Both Ms. Baldwin and her assistant Ms. Romane were outstanding. They are worth the money. Both were responsive, personable, and most importantly knowledgeable. During the trial we had Ms. Baldwin killed it. She had references to laws and other cases every time an issue was brought up. She was... so incredibly prepared.
