My review of Stephanie Stocker

Stephanie was exactly what I hoped for in representation for my case against the State of Washington. She is passionate and very competent in her field. Not many attorneys enjoy labor law, but Stephanie loves it! She has confidence and has a code of professionalism and honesty. She also partners with... another attorney Mike Johns, on some occasions, for example , when a case can not be resolved and there is the possibility of a court trial. The two are an excellent team from my experience! I recommend her services to anyone who feels they have been treated differently, unjustly terminated or discriminated in the workforce. She will listen intently and will tell you honestly if You have a case. She will not take on a case unless she knows there’s an injustice that needs to be correct. I would also recommend Stephanie based on her integrity, she’s honest!!! I am very pleased with the results in my case and am so thankful I had Stephanie and Mike represent me. I highly recommend Stephanie Stocker.

Honest, Caring Expert in Employee Rights

I reached out to Stephanie to help me handle an unexpected resignation request with a company I've been with for over 14 years. Blind-sided and heartbroken, I didn't think I had any choice in the matter. I reached out to Stephanie to discuss my case and it changed my world. She helped me understand m...y rights, reviewed and directed my responses back to upper management and HR while making me feel that I had someone in my corner fighting for me. Needing a lawyer can be scary and Stephanie helped ease my fears through her support, expertise and honest caring while navigating this situation. She helped empower me to fight for what was legally mine and I did just that. Her knowledge of employee rights, binding contracts and age and gender discrimination allowed me to be more confident in my own decision making in order to choose the best course of action for myself. I could not have done this without her guidance and expertise. I cannot express my gratitude enough and I am very thankful for her help.

Exceptional Service and Expertise

I retained Stephanie to support my construction firm with navigating an employee termination and the claims of discrimination. Stephanie provided reassurance and immediate support while developing a plan to address the false claims. Her expertise, capability and demonstrated experience in handling ...this case led to an expanded role with my company. With her guidance, we have now updated policies, procedures and training for our employees. Stephanie cares about her clients and is invested in their success. Her care, exceptional service, expertise and clear understanding of employment and labor laws make her a valuable advisor.

Fierce Advocate

Stephanie is more than an employment lawyer; she is a fierce advocate. If you need someone to run the extra mile, she is the lawyer for you. Stephanie has a master level understanding of employment law. She completely comprehends, in legal terms, the large scope and minute details of an employee-empl...oyer relationship. She is not only gifted in her understanding of the law, but she also possesses a clear and consistent manner in her approach to communicating with clients. She left no stone unturned, to ensure I was making informed decisions at every point along the way. When I needed help, she was not only supportive with legal advice, but it was clear she “got it”. As a person who is gay, with a related work issue, it was a relief that I didn’t have to advocate for myself with Stephanie. But to my surprise, she became my fierce advocate. Stephanie really is more than an employment lawyer.

Supportive, Knowledgable & Realistic

Lawyer Stephanie Henderson Stocker was very kind to offer me a consultation in which she listened and learned about my situation, asked relevant legal and clarifying questions and made practical and realistic suggestions on how to proceed. She advised and assisted me in writing a letter to my employ...er regarding a separation and release agreement and provided follow-up advise.

"I have known Stephanie Henderson Stocker since we both clerked at the Washington State Supreme Court nearly 15 years ago. She assesses complex issues quickly, backed by detailed research, and persuasively advocates for her clients’ needs while maintaining impeccable ethical standards. In the years that I have known Stephanie, she has demonstrated unparalleled commitment to her clients.
