Honest , Ethical, and Diligent are words that come to mid to describe Jeff. 3 months ago I went to Jeff after my original Attorney withdrew from my case just before the scheduled Trial. Despite the circumstances Jeff went right to work, which put me at ease in a very stressful situation . Though the ...Litigation is ongoing, I feel that Jeff's efforts will lead to a positive outcome. Jeff and his team at Whalley Law have given me a peace of mind that I did not have with previous council.

Very disappointing experience — please be careful and ask questions before paying I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this law firm. Before hiring the firm, I had an approximately 40-minute consultation directly with Mr. Wally of Whalley Law PLLC. I explained my divorce situation,... my concerns, and what I needed from an attorney. He explained his approach, and I left that conversation believing that he understood my circumstances and that he would represent me in my case. That conversation gave me hope and confidence that I had found the right attorney. Based on my understanding from that consultation, I decided to hire the firm and paid the requested fee. Three days later, I was informed that my case would be assigned to a different attorney. I was extremely disappointed because my decision to hire the firm was based in significant part on my consultation with Mr. Wally and my understanding that he would handle my case. If I had known before paying that another attorney would be assigned to my case, I would have wanted to consider that information before deciding whether to hire the firm. I was also concerned about the level of experience of the attorney who was assigned to me compared with what I had expected when I decided to hire the firm. For me, this is not simply about money. It is about trust, communication, and transparency. When someone is going through a difficult divorce and is paying a substantial amount for legal representation, they should have a clear understanding of who will actually represent them. English is not my first language, and I was already in a vulnerable position because I urgently needed legal representation. That made clear communication particularly important to me. I needed to understand exactly who I was hiring and who would be responsible for my case. My experience left me feeling that my expectations were not clearly addressed before I paid the firm, and the change in attorney shortly afterward seriously damaged my confidence and trust. If you are considering hiring this firm, I strongly recommend getting everything in writing before paying. Ask: • Is the attorney I am consulting with going to personally represent me? • Who will actually be responsible for my case? • Can my case be reassigned to another attorney after I pay? • What experience does the assigned attorney have with my type of case? • What happens to my retainer if the attorney I expected to represent me does not handle the case? I am sharing my experience so that other people, especially anyone who may be in a vulnerable situation or who may have difficulty communicating in English, can ask these questions before making a financial commitment. I believe every client deserves clear information about who they are hiring and who will actually handle their case.

Failed to respond to any communications. Failed to complete one task that Jeffery Whalley was hired to do, which is considered a breach of contract. Made false accusations. Will not return clients property or any part of the retainer, going on the fourth month now. Will not respond to calls or email...s. Due to Jeffery Whalley non response, I was forced to file a complaint with the Washington State Bar Association, in hopes of receiving some assistance.
