Informed me of what the process was and what we were most likely looking at. Got the traffic infraction reduced to a non-moving violation that won't affect the driving record. Daniel was able to do this even with the police officer and other driver showing up to court.
Good attuide, keep me informed of how he would handle the case. Had faild to yeild infraction and he was able to get it dismissed. That was really cool. Really likes how he handle things. Wouldn't hire anyone else.

As a former deputy prosecutor, I can work your traffic offense down the best reduction possible including dismissal. Â Many traffic attorneys know what to look for generally, but you want an attorney who knows what to look for specifically in your kind of case.

Answered my question promptly
Unfortunately, my problem isn't one that can be solved, but Polage helped me figure this out promptly.

Got it done.
Daniel was clear about everything, was reasonably priced and got my speeding ticket dismissed. Worth the money, for sure.
He didn't give me updates all the time, but though I had some anxiety a few times because I wasn't sure what was going on. But Daniel was on it. It's probably best to just put it in his hands and let him take care of it.
I'm happy with the result!

Charged me for a service that was impossible in my situation.
Basically if he would have known the law better, he would have never charged me the extra 500 dollars for a service that was impossible to complete based on my circumstances.

Would NOT recommend/ NO Communication
I hired Daniel Polage to handle a seat belt violation citation. We spoke ONLY ONE TIME on the phone and after he received a retainer, I had NEVER heard back from him. I tried to reach him numerous times regarding the status of the citation, but he NEVER did got back to me. Finally, I received a correspondence from COURT regarding payment due and violation stayed on the record. He did NOT even advise in ANY form (verbal or writing) regarding the Court's outcome. I had to call the COURT directly and ask if the lawyer was present at all. Unbelievable! I would NOT recommend him to anyone.

Hiring a traffic attorney is a two step process: signing the retainer that you intend to hire, AND making your up front payment in time. Only then, do I file my Notice of Appearance (NOA) with the Court. To date, no Court in Washington has informed me that I missed an appearance in court.
If "Anonymous," is who I believe them to be, up front, IN time payment to retain me was an issue: he/she considered me hired and retained from the first phone call - but I did not. It sounds like this case may have defaulted, with NO parties present in court at all. When my NOA has been filed, I do state in my retainer that weekly status updates will not be necessary nor given, as the deals on these cases are not negotiated between the attorneys until the actual date of hearing - there simply is nothing to report in the interim weeks. For those that proactively call in I am always happy to take their call.
