I have been practicing Bankruptcy law since 1975 representing debtors in Chapter 7,13, and 11 cases. I also have represented many creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. I was a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee appointed by the Justice Department from 1978 to 2004 and administered over 20,000 cases in that time. I have appeared in bankruptcy proceedings in Washington, Delaware, Chicago, and Dallas. I am or have been a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, Executive Committee of Washington State Bar Creditor/Debtor Section, Receiver in Rainier Pacific Bank Holding Company (FDIC Closure) and many other related activities. I gradauated from the University of Iowa ( Finance) in 1968 followed by US Army service during the Viet Nam War. In November of 2015 I opened my 10,000th file. Experience counts! I've seen it all.
