Great in depth free consultation

Great explanation and a second opinion. Definable on my radar if the separation in lieu of discharge doesn't go through and a general CM happens. Explained literally everything but determined I would likely not need further legal counsel and would likely be fine with just appointed defender. W...ill be keeping his phone number just in case. Explained how and what would be affect by my discharge. That he does discharge upgrades. Even explained previous job expiriance - as it would apply to me in the near future.

LIFE SAVER

The end of 2019 I was falsely accused of absurd charges that resulted in a GOMOR. I wasn’t sure what to think of the outrageous charges filed against me and didn’t know how to go about fighting it. I relied on TDS to help me but they only advised me to ask for forgiveness and leniency due to my impec...cable career. I put together a rebuttal and was told by TDS I should remove most my remarks and anything that I wrote to defend myself. I put together what I thought would help my case but only ended with myself receiving a letter saying I was facing a board of inquiry. Following the notice I searched for representation until I found someone that looked legit. I came across Jocelyn Stewart’s office that was out of state. I knew it would be expensive but I was also going through a MEDBOARD that stemmed off of appointments and medical issues that I was being seen for before the supposed incident occurred. When I talked to Jocelyn she handed my file to her associate Sean because she felt he was the perfect person for my case. Instantly Sean was personable, caring, understanding and reassuring. After reading through my case he was shocked it had gone as far as it did and wished I had contacted him earlier in the process so he could have crushed all the nonsense. Sean was confident in what he said he could do for me and assured me he could take care of everything. Along the process he checked in to see how I was doing and genuinely cared about me. When it came time to execute he did exactly what he said he would do. He was able to have all charges dropped, the BOI canceled and my career put back intact like nothing happened. Due to Sean’s incredible work I am in the process of receiving a full honorable discharge with full benefits following a medical discharge. I wish I would have called Sean from the get go. Whatever you do, DO NOT rely on TDS or an appointed defense council. In some aspects of your defense they have their hands tied in what they can do for you. Sean is a retired military judge with years of defense experience and whose name is widely known and respected amongst the active duty JAG Corps. It was unreal how respected and relevant he is being out of uniform. I cannot thank Sean and Jocelyns office enough for everything they did for me. If you find yourself in a situation that requires representation do not hesitate to request their help. They will take care of you!!!

Article 120, 134, and 92

I was a US Navy LTJG (O-2) up against criminal charges punishable by UCMJ Article 120, 134, and 92: Sexual harassment/assault, distribution of alcohol to a minor, and conduct unbecoming of an officer. This could amount to up to 25 years in prison. I could not believe it. I thought my career was ov...er. I thought I would never find another job again. I thought my life my life was over. If you are wondering when to get a lawyer, the answer is immediately upon hearing there is an investigation going on, EVEN if you are still going to work and showing up to quarters at your command. When I heard about my allegations, I contacted Sean Mangan. Upon hearing my story of what happened, Sean looked me in the eye and calmly said, “I’m confident I can provide the services you need.” And he delivered. He organized his own investigation on what happened, and the nature of the people involved. He has his own team working on gathering as much information as possible. He collected positive evidence that could help at a court martial or administrative separation board. He went above and beyond and was ready to fight for me BEFORE anything was heard from the investigative team – NCIS. He moves quick to drive the process down a favorable path. As a retired Lieutenant Colonel (O-5) in the Army, not only did he surprise me when he knows all branches of the military (Army, Navy, Coast Guard, etc.), but HE KNOWS PEOPLE ON THE INSIDE from all his years of service that can help MOVE THE CASE TO A MORE FAVORABLE POSITION. For me, I went from a possible general court marshal to my command taking no legal action NOR administrative action against me. This is why it is important to HIRE SEAN EARLY ON, not just to dampen the legal blow to your life, but to also save money so you don’t go to a court martial. Through the next 6 months of silence, there were points I broke down, points where I needed to know what was next, and points where I required immediate assistance. He was there for all of it. He handled my insecurities about the process with calmness, professionalism, and constant assurance that everything was going to be alright. Not every lawyer will pick up the phone at 8:30 PM while he is at a dinner party to answer a quick question. Most lawyers do not even give out their phone numbers, so you have to leave a message with their paralegal. TLDR – If you want to win, hire Sean.

Sean is the best combination of knowledge/empathy you will find

Due to a pending EO related UCMJ, I saw my career flash before my eyes. I was terrified and I felt like there was nobody who actually cared about my side of the story. I contacted five attorney's offices before I was referred to Sean through Jocelyn Stewart's website.. Every attorney i talked to befo...re Sean was pushy, rude, expensive, and most of all, judgemental. I talked to Sean for the first time in my barracks room for 20 minutes with the shower on. I almost cried after the call because he was so nice and understanding. He didn't even mention payment on the first call. Throughout the entire UCMJ process, I frequently texted and called Sean. (he didn't like being called sir) He answered every question I had. I asked him every question that popped into my head. Anything ranging from 'what do I do when I get kicked out?' To 'how is this going to affect my career?' The latter question I asked after I received a verbal reprimand as punishment. To put it plainly, Sean saved my career. I can not begin to describe what Sean did for me. He defended me in the right way. He listened first and asked questions second. I read his memo to my commander and there wasn't one exaggeration nor a falsity or any play on words. Sean took me in as a terrified private and plainly stated my defense to my commander. Most importantly, he never judged me. Sean saved my career and I will never forget him and what he did for me
