Jeffrey Alan Robinson

I hired Jeff Robinson to assist me with a complicated divorce. I had him retained for over a year. Fees reaching well into the upper $40,000.00, and not one thing was accomplished with my case. He did not respond to phone calls or emails. When my case came to court, he wasn’t even there. He sent... his partner, whom I’ve never met or spoken to. I lost my case. I hired him because he had a reputation as a “pit bull”, and yet he wasn’t even in court to represent me. I then had to hire an appellate attorney, at an additional cost, to file an appeal on my behalf, because Mr. Robinson did not work with appeals. I won my appeal and had to hire a 3rd attorney to represent me in future proceedings. Mr Robinson is, in my opinion, a very poor attorney. His communication skills are non existent and he lied to my face regarding why he wasn’t in court on my behalf. Don’t waste your time or money hiring him.

Jeff is sharp, analytical, and strategic. His succinct statements are all purposeful and powerful. He is fair, honest, and respectful to all parties. He educated me about the limits & boundaries of my case. We got everything that we fought for. They say nobody wins in a divorce. However, in my case, ...I was able to protect my daughter and get my life and confidence back. Jeff was a fearless & compassionate advocate for me and my daughter. I went through a very long separation and finally am divorced. I hired Jeff after my first lawyer failed to articulate specific laws in WA as well as answer my emails in a timely manner. Jeff is expensive, but you get what you pay for in terms of experience and expertise. Jeff and his team guided ...me through this process to help me ensure the safety of my five year old son with my ex-husband who relapsed with drugs and alcohol again during this process. They were always kind and professional even when things were not pleasant with my case to me. His knowledge of the law and the willingness to not back down to obtain a reasonable solution in terms of a parenting plan, finances, and a divorce. My case was extremely difficult with many different players and Jeff never lost sight of what I wanted for my son in terms of having a good relationship with his Dad while being safe. He helped me create safety guidelines and parameters to ensure that I wouldn't be worried and be constantly back to court all the time. Jeff also worked with my strengths and what I wanted in terms of the final decrees after 18 months including specific details and verbiage. (I wanted details to be very clear to avoid any confusion moving forward). Going through a divorce with a young child is not easy for anyone. In my specific case, we had a GAL that did not agree with 2 child therapists. I really did not want to go to trial, but wanted to try to resolve everything in a civil manner.
